Need a little extra time? Extensions just got easier! 📚 🖊️ 🙌

Swinburne’s automatic assessment extension process is now available for eligible non-exam assessments.

If you need a little extra time, you may be able to receive an automatic extension of up to 3 calendar days with no supporting documentation or Unit Convenor approval required!

How does it work?
1. Check your Unit Outline to make sure your assessment is eligible
2. Go to Canvas and select Assignment Extensions from your unit menu
3. Select the relevant assessment
4. Submit your request before the assessment is due

You can request an automatic extension up to 14 days before the due date, with one automatic extension available per assessment task per teaching period.

Need more than 3 days?
If you need more than 3 extra days, have already missed the due date, need another extension for the same assessment, or your assessment is not eligible then you may need to apply for Special Consideration instead.

Not sure which option applies to you? SAS can help!
