Come see Melody Trio Band in Northcote on the 1st of September as they host “The Sound and Soul of Macedonia.”
Listen to beautiful Macedonian songs played and sung live and dig into the delicious crepes and cocktails being served on the night!

Australian-Macedonian filmmaker Goran Stolevski’s upcoming horror period piece “You Won’t Be Alone” has final tickets screening on the 21st of August, so don’t miss out!

Честит илинден македонци! ❤️💛

Once more we celebrate the most important day on the Macedonian national calender, thе day that signifies so much for our culture. We have already explained the historical significance of this day in previous years' posts but to summarise Ilinden is THE national day for Macedonians all over the globe. The day in which we come together as a nation to pay respects to those who fought for an idea, the idea that Macedonia should and can be free! 🚩

This year, LTUMSS members celebrated Ilinden in the La Trobe University Agora by running a ḱebapi bbq for all our fellow students. We sincerely thank all those who volunteered and those who purchased rolls and inquired about our club and culture.

We’d like to give a huge thanks to Northcote Plaza Deli for letting us sizzle up their mouthwatering kebapi at La Trobe😋

You’ll find us in the Agora from 11am to 2pm on the 2nd of August (the day of our Ilinden Uprising!)

Big thanks to everyone who’s been excited for another LTUMSS event. We hope you’ll join us in celebrating the return of the kebapi stall, на здравје🥳

We would like to give thanks to all those who were apart of the 2021 committee. The AGM is the single most important event on the LTUMSS calendar as it determines club activity for the remainder of the academic year. The prosperity of the club is determined by your attendance, so please take the time to attend even if it is just for part of the meeting.

🎶 LTUMSS is proud to promote the recent release of our friend Volk Makedonski's latest music video "Never North", featuring fellow Melbourne artist Vera Trajkoska and Ohrid-based rapper Bizzy. We are also excited to see our friend and collaborator, DJ Mangal make an appearance! 🎶

This music video was filmed at the Sv. Prohor Pčinjski Macedonian Orthodox Monastery in Donnybrook, Wurundjeri Country.

Volk Makedonski is a Melbourne rapper with a lengthy career dating back to the late 1990s as apart of the reknown alternative hip-hop collective, Curse Ov Dialect.
