Reach The reach project provides a health check services to the community delivered by EN students under the supervision of RN's. RTO Code: 52786

For the community:

Reach Primary Health Care branch provides a roaming service to provide easy access to vital health services. Reach offers health checks which include:

•Blood pressure check
•Blood sugar level check
•Cholesterol check
•Health promotion

Reach Wellness Centres operate at Wandana and St Bartholomews clinic in East Perth will offer health checks plus:

•Stress management
•Relaxati

on exercises
•Support

For students:
Reach provides students the necessary practical experience needed for qualification. Students are supervised by fully qualified registered nurses when working with the public and conducting health checks. This unique opportunity means that students will be giving back to the community while studying, as well as gaining valuable skills and experiences.

Due to rising COVID-19 cases, and in support of WA Health's strategies to prepare for high case loads, some REACH programs have been temporarily suspended. The REACH Wellness Centre at Wandana Flats and the REACH Population Health Check programs are on hiatus until further notice. The PCH Immunology Clinic will also be reverting to telehealth appointments for the next several weeks.

RPH Diabetic Retinopathy Screening Clinics and RPH Respiratory Symptom Clinics will continue as scheduled for now.
