Lockdown lifted!

Jactech plans to re-open from Tuesday during mid-semester break.
MaPS Workshops are currently planned to run as usual from Week 7.

Masks will be required to collect or return Jactech gear or attend a workshop so don't forget to mask up!

Due to the Brisbane lock-down, this week’s MaPS workshops and Jactech opening times have been cancelled.

This means that no new equipment loans will be made, and you will not be able to return equipment until Jactech re-opens.

MaPS workshops for this week have been cancelled through Eventbrite.

We’re here to help! Email [email protected] for production support, and [email protected] for any equipment booking queries.

We will post workshop and equipment loan updates here as we know more.

Thank you for your patience and stay safe!

Have you seen speed ramped footage on social media and thought, I want to ramp up MY video footage like that?
The MaPS Team can show you how!

In case you’re thinking “what is speed ramping’, it’s the cool effect content creators use on their video footage to make it super fast for a few seconds, speeding up an action before returning to normal or slow speed. It’s fun and fast all at once!

We’re running a free 15 minute Zoom workshop demonstrating how to speed ramp your video footage in Premiere Pro TOMORROW: Thursday 8th October at 10am (Brisbane time).

This session is ideal for students with upcoming video-based assignments and a perfect addition to our online Premiere Pro course: https://jactech.com.au/video-editing-tutorial/

Secure your spot here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/122340468635
You’ll be sent a Zoom link after sign up.

The MaPS Team are also here to assist you with all things digital production. We offer a range of free online and offline workshops available here and email support via [email protected].
*This class is for UQ students in the School of Communication & Arts ONLY
