The Adelaide University Hellenic Students Society (AUHSS) is a global and inclusive club of all Hellenic cultures. Our membership extends to all students, regardless of their background, OR university. The AUHSS promotes Hellenic culture by holding fun and exciting events. You don't have to be Greek, speak Greek or study Greek- you just have to have a general interest in the Hellenic culture and just have fun!

🇬🇷Greek Independence Day🇬🇷

Today we commemorate the start of the Greek War of Independence, which began on the 25th of March 1821. On this day Greece started their revolution for independence against the Ottoman Empire.

Today we celebrate the importance of freedom, whilst honouring the courage, strength and sacrifice of those who fought for Greece’s freedom.
