Warawara - Department of Indigenous Studies Warawara - Department of Indigenous Studies is an Academic Department located within the Faculty of Arts at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia.

Warawara is responsible for overseeing an undergraduate Indigenous Studies major, a Bachelor of Community Management, Masters of Indigenous Education and Higher Degree Research programs. We also work closely with the Institute of Early Childhood who offer a Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood Services) for Indigenous students. In addition to facilitating educational opportunities for Indigenous

people, Warawara also offers student support to Indigenous students enrolled across the University. Our research specialties emphasise Indigenous education and health, Indigenous methodologies, and Aboriginal Astronomy. Feel free to join this page and be part of the Warawara family.
