Today we commemorate the Pontic Genocide, where over 350,000 Pontic Greeks were brutally and deliberately massacred during Ottoman rule in WW1. We honour the lives of our Pontiac ancestors, ensuring their stories are not forgotten.

We also commemorate and remember the genocides on the Armenians and Assyrians during Ottoman WW1. Our shared history will not be forgotten. Hundreds of thousands of our ancestors were forced to march in deserts and were slaughtered for their culture, heritage and Christian faith.
