With focused eyes and careful hands, students sat in disciplined rows, pouring their best effort onto every line. The concentration on each young face reflected not just a love for beautiful writing, but the values that Southpoint instills — 💚 "Think, Change, Do."

Exploration of World Geography through Coordinated Thinking

Geography is much more than memorizing names and locations from textbooks; it is a subject that helps students understand the world and their place within it. With this vision in mind, Southpoint School & College recently organized an exciting Inter-House Map Pointing Competition for students of Classes 6–8. The event encouraged students to sharpen their geographical knowledge, analytical thinking, and coordination skills through practical learning activities.

During the competition, participants were challenged with detailed maps of Bangladesh and the world. Within a limited time, students successfully identified geographic coordinates, international borders, major countries, capitals, rivers, oceans, and important landmarks with remarkable accuracy. Their confident performances reflected not only their academic preparation but also their critical thinking abilities, concentration, and enthusiasm for learning.

At Southpoint School & College, education is focused on skill development and hands-on experiences rather than simple memorization. The first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah are among the most sacred and rewarding days in Islam. These days are filled with immense mercy, forgiveness, and opportunities to earn great rewards from Allah.

1. Most Beloved Days to Allah
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that good deeds performed during these days are more beloved to Allah than on any other days of the year.
2. Increased Rewards for Good Deeds
