In today’s session, the Government bench, Team EDDC Modernists comprising Tawfiq, Ayeman, and Akash, and the Opposition bench, Team Victorians, comprising Mahmud, Mohona, and Anu, engaged in a thought-provoking debate on how the House should attempt to address the Rohingya issue in Bangladesh.

Today was also the first public appearance of Mishkatul Jahan Mohona, our Publication Secretary, as the newly appointed General Secretary of Sufia Kamal Hall Debate Club, and we are honoured that our debate session was also the first that she participated in in that role.

And we are grateful to our President and Treasurer for making time to adjudicate the session.
