We are proud to share that Tanvir Mustafa, an ELT student of Batch 251, has successfully published his dissertation research in a peer-reviewed international journal! He was supervised by Assistant Professor Shahnaz Akter in the course titled ELT 698: Dissertation.

The Department of English, Presidency University, warmly welcomed its new undergraduate students to their first semester, Summer 2026, on Thursday, 7th May 2026. The orientation began with heartfelt greetings from the Head of the Department, Nazla Fatmi; Programme Coordinator and Assistant Professor, Shahnaz Akter; and Batch Adviser and Lecturer, Abid Ahmed. The introductory remarks were followed by an engaging session on the undergraduate syllabus and course structure. The occasion was marked by the freshers' enthusiasm, warmth, and camaraderie. We extend our sincere thanks to all faculty members and students for making this event truly memorable.
