BASIS deems it as a Social contribution towards the long term national vision of becoming a technology driven knowledge economy, particularly through engaging with the young generation for motivating and guiding them for becoming future technology leaders. THUS BASIS STUDENTS' FORUM is the NEED of the hour because the students of today are the future leaders and anchors of the country. This pool of talented youth or young generations needs to be mentored for the future. Vision
It is our goal and our purpose to provide a community network for the IT business professionals to reach their true potential by providing education programs for advancing technology and business skills to the students, leadership development opportunities, networking, peer mentoring, and knowledge sharing and online resources for the students. Student Membership in BASIS Students' Forum provides numerous opportunities to advance your IT knowledge to become entrepreneurs and business skills to meet the demand skills of the new IT business professional. To increase youth impact in the economy, we see that society needs leaders who are entrepreneurial, culturally sensitive, socially responsible, and who take an active part in their own learning and being a student is a time for change and growing and one of the best things that you can do to further your development as a person, as a professional and or as an entrepreneur for the future is to join BASIS Students' Forum. Students enrolled in an IT related major at a university or college who are looking for careers within the IT field or ICT sector or who want to become IT Professional or entrepreneurs will find joining BASIS Students' Forum a step in the right direction. Besides the sharing of ideas with other IT students and faculty members on campus, being a member of BASIS Students' Forum you will be able to hear speakers and IT experts present on current technical and management topics at Student Chapter meetings as well as participate in various activities and events all year round. Individual students whose degree major is consistent with their desire to enter the ICT field shall be eligible to become Student Members of the FORUM. Persons employed in the ICT are not eligible to be student members

You can join BASIS Student’s Forum either as an ‘Organizer’ or as a ‘Member’. People who are already employed in the ICT are NOT eligible to join as student members but faculty member from university or moderator of any IT related club in the university/institute can join as Mentor. To apply as an ‘organizer’, students who are already an organizer of any existing group or club in their universities are eligible. All the members from the club will be considered as a member of it. In such case, one needs to circulate the BASIS Students' Forum form among all the members and must ensure that they have filled it up appropriately. If you do not have any club activities in your university you can also apply for membership of BASIS students' forum. Applicants’ who wish to apply as an organizer, also must immediately check whether there is an existing BASIS Students' Forum from their university, since we only allow one forum from each university. If your university already has a BASIS Students' Forum, please contact the organizer and join the group. Students from any discipline can apply to become a ‘member’ of the BASIS Students' Forum. Forum Naming Convention
Decide on a short and precise name. The de-facto standard that we intend to use would be: BASIS Students' Forum Chapter For example, if you are studying in XYZ University, it would be BASIS Students' Forum, XYZ University Chapter. Responsibilities as an Organizer
After you have joined the BASIS Students' Forum, you need to plan an event calendar or prepare a wish list with various activities; company visits etc. and share it with us. We would like to see on how you intend to connect with our professional industry and provide you with proper guidelines for the successful implementation of your plan. One of our leader and one mentor will also be available to help you full fill your wish list. Remember, you are the Brand Ambassador of BASIS Students' Forum in your university.
