The English Language Club, UAP (ELCUAP), successfully organized its first-ever inter-university event, “Mindscape.”
The event began with a welcoming speech by our anchors. Following that, our convener, Nurul Ahad, took the stage. The Acting Vice Chancellor then honored us with his presence and delivered a speech. The Dean of Business Dr M. A. Baqui Khalily along with DSW’s acting director Mohammad Rakiv also honored us with their presence and delivered speeches. As a token of our gratitude for their presence, we presented them with small tokens of appreciation.
A breakfast break followed before the English Olympiad commenced at 11:00 AM. The first round of the poster presentation segment took place at 12:00 PM judged by Nurul Ahad, Dr Abu Sufian Imon and Wahid Kaiser followed by a lunch and prayer break at 1:30 PM. The final round of the poster presentation began at 3:00 PM in the auditorium.
After the final round, the CEO of our title sponsor, CHS Education, Nazmul Hasan Raju, honored us with a speech alongside Algoma University Recruitment Representative Md Gelman Ul Islam. Head of English Department Takad Ahmed Chowdhury also honored us with his presence. We were also graced by the presence of a member of our university’s Board of Trustees, who delivered a speech. The event concluded with the distribution of prizes to the winners, followed by a closing speech.
