The MoU signing programme between the Bangladesh Public Administration Training Centre (BPATC) and the Department of Public Administration, BRUR.

The event was honored by the presence of Professor Dr. Md. Showkat Ali, Honorable Vice Chancellor of BRUR, and Mr. Sayeed Mahbub Khan, Rector (Senior Secretary), BPATC.

The agreement was signed by Md. Mujahidul Islam, Chairman, Department of Public Administration, BRUR, and Dr. Md. Mohoshin Ali, MDS (Joint Secretary), BPATC.

This collaboration will open new avenues for student study visits, internships, joint research, and faculty exchange, strengthening academic excellence and practical learning.

ATF–Sub Project Inception Workshop of the HEAT Project. Funded by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the World Bank.

A high point moment for the Department of Public Administration, Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur.

This research project will cover 12 City Corporations of Bangladesh, with a strong focus on Local Government Performance Indexing and Quality Public Service Delivery.

The project will create valuable research and fieldwork opportunities for both faculty members and students, enriching academic learning with real-world experience.

আজ থেকে বেগম রোকেয়া বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়, রংপুরের লোকপ্রশাসন বিভাগে Bangladesh Youth Leadership Center BYLC এর সহযোগিতায় Building Bridges through Leadership Training BBLT শীর্ষক ছয় সপ্তাহব্যাপী প্রশিক্ষণ কার্যক্রম আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে শুরু হয়েছে। প্রথম ব্যাচে মোট ৬০ জন শিক্ষার্থী এই ট্রেনিং এ অংশ নিয়েছে।

ওরিয়েন্টেশন সেশনে উপস্থিত ছিলেন লোকপ্রশাসন বিভাগের বিভাগীয় প্রধান মোঃ মুজাহিদুল ইসলাম এবং প্রভাষক নিয়াজ মাখদুম। পুরো দিনের প্রশিক্ষণ ও ইভালুয়েশন কার্যক্রম পরিচালনায় BYLC এর পক্ষ থেকে দায়িত্ব পালন করেছেন আকাশ সিংহ (স্কিলস ডেভেলপমেন্ট প্রোগ্রাম) এবং মোঃ আবুল খায়ের সজিব (ম্যানেজার, রিসার্চ, মনিটরিং অ্যান্ড ইভালুয়েশন)। এছাড়া লোকপ্রশাসন বিভাগের ৭ জন শিক্ষার্থী ফ্যাসিলিটেটর হিসেবে পুরো প্রশিক্ষণ কর্মসূচিতে সক্রিয় ভূমিকা পালন করেছে।

এই প্রশিক্ষণের মাধ্যমে শিক্ষার্থীরা নেতৃত্ব, দলগত কাজ এবং পেশাগত দক্ষতা উন্নয়নের একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ও বাস্তবমুখী সুযোগ পাচ্ছে।

Higher Study Club, Department of Public Administration, Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur আয়োজিত “Higher Studies: Where, When & How to Start” শীর্ষক ভার্চুয়াল সেমিনারটি সফলভাবে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। সেমিনারে প্রায় দেড়শতাধিক শিক্ষার্থী অংশগ্রহণ করে উচ্চশিক্ষার প্রস্তুতি, বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় নির্বাচন, স্কলারশিপ ও আবেদন প্রক্রিয়া সম্পর্কে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ধারণা লাভ করেন।

আমরা আন্তরিকভাবে কৃতজ্ঞতা জানাই সেমিনারের কি-নোট স্পিকার M H M Mubassir, PhD Student, University of Georgia, USA–কে তাঁর সময় ও অনুপ্রেরণামূলক আলোচনা প্রদানের জন্য।

আমরা চাই আমাদের শিক্ষার্থীদের একটি অংশ উচ্চ শিক্ষা গ্রহণের জন্য পৃথিবীর বিভিন্ন প্রান্তে ছুটে যাক এবং সেখান থেকে উপকারী জ্ঞান আহরণ করে আমাদের সমাজকে সমৃদ্ধ করুক। এ উদ্দেশ্যকে সামনে রেখেই আগামী ৬ নভেম্বর আমরা একটি ভার্চুয়াল সেমিনার আয়োজন করতে যাচ্ছি। উচ্চ শিক্ষার বিভিন্ন পথকে আমাদের শিক্ষার্থীদের মধ্যে পরিচিত করানোর জন্য এ সেমিনারে কি নোট স্পিকার হিসেবে আলোচনা করবেন যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের জর্জিয়া বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের পিএইচডি শিক্ষার্থী জনাব এম এইচ এম মুবাশ্বের। আশা করছি শিক্ষার্থীরা বিপুল উদ্দীপনা ও গভীর আগ্রহ নিয়ে সেমিনারটি উপভোগ করবে।
