The Department of Chemistry at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology was established in 1990 and started its first academic session in the same year under the Headship of Professor Dr. M. Over the last 17 years, the department has gradually emerged as a major field of teaching and research in Chemistry. The Department of Chemistry now offers the most up-to-date courses of Inorganic, Physi

cal, Organic, and Analytical & Environmental Chemistry for B. About 325 students are, at present, studying in the different semesters of B. There are thirty teachers in the Department of which eleven are holding Ph. degrees in the specialized field of Chemistry. There are eighteen teachers at station and twelve teachers on study leave. The number of officers and employees working in this department are 3 and 9, respectively. The research activities in the Department are being carried out in all the main branches of Chemistry; namely Inorganic, Physical, Organic, and Analytical & Environmental Chemistry. The research facilities the department utilizes at present include FTIR spectrophotometer, UV-Visible spectrophotometer, Atomic Absorption spectrophotometer, High Performance Liquid Chromatography, Electrochemical and other ordinary laboratory instruments. The Department also uses the research facilities of the Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission Centre and BCSIR of Dhaka. The teachers of this Department have also established research collaboration with different research organizations in UK and Japan. Currently Department of Chemistry offers the following courses

২. টোটাল ৪টা হিট হবে এর মধ্যে যার পয়েন্ট বেশি থাকবে তাকে বিজয়ী ঘোষণা করা হবে।
৩. সকল ম্যাচ knockout হবে।

বিঃদ্রঃ যথাসময়ে উপস্থিত না থাকলে disqualified গন্য হবে। যদি কোন সমস্যা থাকে তাহলে কর্তৃপক্ষের সাথে যোগাযোগ করার অনুরোধ করা হলো।(খেলা শুরুর ২ঘন্টা আগে।)
