The 16th and 18th Batches of the Department of Public Administration, SUST successfully organized a Poster Presentation on “Gender, Development and Social Equity & Development Studies.”

The event highlighted important issues such as gender violence, power relations, intersectionality, economic growth, and human development, encouraging critical discussion on how these factors shape social equity within development processes.

A sincere thank you to all participants and viewers for their enthusiasm and engagement. Your support made this event meaningful and contributed to raising awareness about key gender and development challenges.

We hope this initiative inspires more students to engage with issues of gender justice, social equity, and inclusive development.

আজ ২১ ফেব্রুয়ারি মহান শহীদ দিবস ও আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবস উপলক্ষে লোকপ্রশাসন বিভাগ কর্তৃক সকাল ১০টায় পুষ্পস্তবক অর্পণ কর্মসূচি পালন করা হয়।

উক্ত কর্মসূচিতে উপস্থিত ছিলেন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের মাননীয় উপাচার্য অধ্যাপক ড. এ. এম. সরওয়ারউদ্দিন চৌধুরী, উপ-উপাচার্য ড. সাজেদুল করিম, লোকপ্রশাসন বিভাগের অধ্যাপক আশরাফ সিদ্দিকী, অধ্যাপক সামিউল ইসলামসহ বিভাগের বিভিন্ন সেমিস্টারের শিক্ষার্থীবৃন্দ।

শহীদদের প্রতি গভীর শ্রদ্ধা নিবেদন করে ভাষা আন্দোলনের চেতনা ধারণ ও বাস্তবায়নের অঙ্গীকার পুনর্ব্যক্ত করা হয়।

শাহজালাল বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের আসন্ন কেন্দ্রীয় ছাত্র সংসদ (শাকসু) নির্বাচনে লোক-প্রশাসন বিভাগের বিভিন্ন ব্যাচের মোট ছয়জন শিক্ষার্থী অংশগ্রহণ করছেন। এর মধ্যে তিনজন কেন্দ্রীয় সংসদের বিভিন্ন পদে এবং বাকি তিনজন হল সংসদের পদে প্রতিদ্বন্দ্বিতা করবেন।

লোক-প্রশাসন বিভাগের পক্ষ থেকে আপনাদের জন্য রইল আন্তরিক শুভকামনা। আমরা আশা করি, আপনাদের এই উদ্যোগ ভবিষ্যৎ নেতৃত্ব ও সাফল্যের পথে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখবে।
