The IUBAT Career Festival 2025 kicked off on December 6 with extraordinary excitement as 130+ leading employers joined our campus to connect with thousands of motivated job seekers. With 1,300+ job openings, internship opportunities, on-spot interviews, networking activities, and insightful career sessions, this year’s festival is truly a gateway to real career growth.

The event was inaugurated by Professor Selina Nargis, Treasurer of IUBAT, alongside top HR professionals and university officials.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to Coach Sabbir Hossain and all the players for keeping up the spirit, teamwork, and passion that led to this achievement.

The IUBAT Mechanical Engineering Alumni Association. successfully organized a Certified Training Session on Maintenance & Reliability: Breakdown Analysis & Strategies.

Participants gained in-depth knowledge and practical understanding of key industrial maintenance principles, including:
• Mechanical maintenance processes
• Machine component reliability
• Condition-Based Monitoring (CBM)
• Root cause analysis and failure mode identification
• Machine health monitoring & inspection guidelines.

This interactive session provided an excellent platform for interns, alumni, and industry professionals from diverse sectors to engage, exchange expertise, and share real-world industrial experiences. The training further emphasized effective breakdown management strategies, equipping participants with the skills required to deal with critical maintenance challenges efficiently and professionally.

We, the IUBAT Mechanical Engineering Alumni Association (IMEAA), express our deepest sorrow at the untimely passing of Flying Officer Riana Azad, a proud IUBAT CSE Alumna and Gold Medalist. As Bangladesh’s first female military pilot and a distinguished recipient of the Sword of Honour, she embodied exceptional courage, dedication, and excellence.

Her tragic demise in a boat capsize incident in the Sundarbans is a profound loss to the nation, the aviation community, and the IUBAT family. Riana Azad’s remarkable achievements and inspiring legacy will continue to motivate future generations.

Our heartfelt prayers and sympathies are with her family, friends, colleagues, and loved ones during this difficult time.
May her soul rest in eternal peace.

Another successful event by the IUBAT Mechanical Engineering Alumni Association (IMEAA)

We have organized a seminar on “HVAC System Design & Application: A Guideline for Your Career Pathway”, where our key resource person Md. Al Amin, AGM – Engineering & Project Management, Epic Group, shared his experience on HVAC design, industrial applications, and the exciting career opportunities in this field. We were delighted to have our Honorable Advisor, President, and General Secretary share motivating words with the participants. A big thanks to the Department of Mechanical Engineering, IUBAT ISME - IUBAT Society of Mechanical Engineers IUBAT—International University of Business Agriculture and Technology for hosting and supporting this wonderful session.
