CapU Street Party was back, bringing students, employees and community partners together to celebrate the start of a new semester!

The day featured live entertainment, games, campus and community booths, an Indigenous vendors market, food and giveaways.

TransLink’s R2 RapidBus now connects the North Shore directly with Vancouver and Burnaby.

We welcomed Dr. James Honan of Harvard Graduate School of Education for the inaugural President’s Visiting Speaker Series on Teaching and Learning.

Hosted by President Jason Dewling and Brad Wuetherick, director, teaching & learning, the interactive session explored opportunities for innovation and improvement in teaching, academic programs and the student experience at CapU.

We're proud to share that the Fulmer Family Centre for Childhood Studies has earned LEED Gold certification from the Canada Green Building Council CAGBC.

The centre was designed to support children, students, educators and researchers through innovative learning spaces and sustainable design. Home to the School of Education and Childhood Studies and a 74-space child-care facility, it serves as a hub for early childhood education, research and innovation at CapU.

Learn how the centre's energy-efficient features, mass-timber construction and forest-adjacent learning environment contributed to this achievement.

The Capilano University Board of Governors has welcomed returning and new members to its leadership team for the coming year.

Rabjeet (RJ) Wallia has been re-elected as board chair, while Shelley Frost and Amina El mantari will continue as vice-chairs. The Board also welcomes newly elected student members Karan Deep Nain and Harjoban Gill.
