Faced with increasing quality demands in aluminium foil printing for the pharma industry, Drucktechnik Weinstadt chose the Gallus Labelmaster 440 as its new production system.

Printed on the Gallus Five using the new HEIDELBERG Saphira UV05 ink set, the job combines 6 colors and a white underlay, with cold foil and flexo varnish to create a strong shelf presence.
Thanks to its high pigment concentration, Saphira UV05 delivers vibrant colors while helping reduce ink consumption. The ink set maintains consistent color performance at production speeds of up to 100 m/min, making it suitable for applications where both color accuracy and productivity matter.

Since the launch of the Gallus Print Academy at Labelexpo Europe 2025, we have delivered numerous on-site trainings at customer facilities.

Today, we're looking back at one of our early training sessions at Kim Pack in Thailand. Working on the Gallus RCS 430, a dedicated tube-laminate machine, participants gained hands-on experience in flexo printing, cold foil and die-cutting, strengthening their knowledge across key production processes.

Following the success of this session, a second training is just taking place this week at Kim Pack, continuing the team's learning journey with Gallus.
