According to MEP’s memorandum DM-DVM-AC-1049-2025, “Declaratoria de Interés Educativo”, signed on August 21st, 2025:

a) ✅ Participation is authorized, but not mandatory.
b) 🏫 The decision is left to each school administration.
c) 👩‍🏫➡️👨‍🏫 If a teacher needs to be absent, the institution must make the necessary arrangements to ensure that students are not affected.
