Research in Ecology, Environment & Biodiversity at the Department of Biological Sciences focuses on understanding how species interact with each other and with their environment, and how ecological and evolutionary processes influence biodiversity across ecosystems.
Postgraduate research in this area is conducted across laboratories studying ecological interactions, evolutionary processes, species communication and molecular approaches to biodiversity research.
MSc and PhD students work closely with research teams and participate in ongoing projects that investigate behaviour, evolution and environmental change.
