BIRTHDAY UPDATE 🎂

Hello everybody! 👋

Not only did my YouTube channel have a birthday, but so did I! 🥳 Happy birthday to me, I guess 😄 I know I look older, but I’m only 12. It’s a Slavic thing — the beard arrives around primary school.🧔‍♂️

Lame joke aside 🙂 I decided to use this opportunity, together with the recent first anniversary of the YouTube channel, for a brief moment of reflection on what worked and what didn’t — and to update you on the planned schedule.

TL;DR:

I’m happy that the channel is growing 🙏 The goal is to deliver one episode every three weeks. There will be two Shorts per video. The next episodes will be about religion in the music of Black Sabbath 🎸, a conference presentation about the history of modern Paganism in Slovakia 📚, and religion in the Oblivion DLCs (Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine) 🎮.

Long version for those who like to read:

When I started envisioning this channel, I was not in a very good place in my life. Too tired from my daily job and family obligations, I was searching for something that would give me hope that I could break the circle of bad luck. The idea of starting a YouTube channel about religion looked very good on paper.

My plans were highly optimistic, and I hoped to reach my first 1,000 subscribers within a year. Well… reality is different, and progress is simply slower 🙂 The same can be said about the pace of video releases. I hoped to deliver one video every two weeks, but very early on I realized that this pace was not feasible due to work and family commitments.

Nevertheless, I’ve had a lot of fun writing scripts and editing videos ✍️🎬 I’m a creative person, and YouTube is a great space to express that creativity and share my knowledge with the world. In the end, the channel really helped me move from a sadder state of mind to a better place.

I’m not a famous YouTuber (yet 😎), but I used to work on scripts, subtitles, or whatever was needed during breaks at my corporate job or early in the mornings before my shift started. It helped me not to be consumed by work or other issues — and in the end, I felt much better.

I’m also very happy that the Fallout video is doing pretty well so far and will hopefully be my first video to reach over 1,000 views 🚀 Yay! The boost in subscriber numbers (hi there! 👋) has been decent, but what’s really cool is that people are actually watching the videos. So far, the Fallout episode is my best-performing one in terms of watch time 📈

My plans for the near future are to upload more frequently to speed up the growth of the channel. One video every two weeks would be ideal, but I will aim for one every three weeks. I plan to stick to the rhythm of one game video 🎮, one Pagan video 🌿, and one metal video 🎸.

I know that in theory it would be best to focus on only one topic, but I know myself — it would be too narrow for me 🙂 I like the mix.

I also experimented with Shorts, but the results are mixed. After looking more closely at the data, I decided to continue publishing Shorts on YouTube — but only two per main video release, with a maximum length of one minute. One will be a teaser/trailer, and the second will be from the “Did you know…?” category 🤔

I’ll probably upload more short videos to TikTok as well — if I find the time to create them 😅

Of course, I plan to improve as a creator — mainly by working on my editing skills and delivery to be more engaging 🎥 The goal is to be as engaging as possible without losing scientific rigor.

In the end, I would like to thank you all for watching my videos, commenting, and subscribing ❤️ I’m really happy that the feedback has been mostly positive so far and that the general trend is slow but steady growth 📊 That’s much better than no growth at all 😄

I’m not at the level of Angela Puca Symposium yet — but hopefully next year I’ll reach my goal of 1,000 subscribers 💪

Thank you for being here 🙏

Hubology in Fallout presents a UFO-style cult where spiritual progress requires paid “alignment” rituals powered by zeta radiation. It’s a perfect example of pay-to-win enlightenment — a microtransaction system for your soul in a world searching for meaning after the apocalypse.

Fallout isn’t just about mutants and nuclear explosions — it’s a world where faith in progress, science, and modernity has collapsed. What happens to religion when “God is dead” and civilization is gone, and people must build new sacred canopies from the ruins?

HAPPY 1TH BIRTHDAY. 15 GRAMS OF RELIGION!

🎮☢️ After almost two months in production, my first of its kind long-format episode is out to celebrate the first anniversarry of 15 Grams of Religion!
Inspired by my recent playthrought of Fallout New Vegas and Fallout TV show, I explore Fallout through the lens of religious studies: cults, sects, apocalyptic movements, Christianity, and even factions that don’t call themselves religious — but behave like they are.

☢️What happens to belief after nuclear apocalypse?
☢️How do people rebuild meaning when the state, science, and progress collapse?
☢️And why is the Brotherhood of Steel basically a techno-monastic order?

This video means a lot to me, as is not only dedicated to one of my favorite game franchise, which I started to discover when I was 15, but also shows my progress as content creator. There is still a lot to learn, but in comparison to my previous videos Fallout episode should have best sound (new microphon + Audiacity magic) and cut. The evolution from the very shy, but brave first episodes in comparison with Fallout essay should be very visible.

FRIDAY’S UPDATE #22

Hello everybody!

The production of the Fallout video is going well! Today, I finished re-recording a few parts I wasn’t satisfied with, and the next phase will be adding recorded footage and music to the audio. After that, the video will be finished, minus the Slovak subtitles. You can expect a one-hour-long deep dive into the religions of Fallout.

The plan is to release the video on February 7, exactly one year after I officially started my passion project, 15 Grams of Religion, to celebrate the channel’s anniversary.

I hope you are doing wonderful in the meantime!

NEW YEAR UPDATE 2026

Hello everybody!

I would like to wish you all a very successful year 2026, in which all your wishes will come true! I hope that your Christmas/Yule/Winter Solstice time was the perfect opportunity to recharge your batteries, slow down a little, and enjoy time with your loved ones.

As I foreshadowed in my previous updates, I am currently working on an episode about the PC game series Fallout. The style will be similar to my episodes about Morrowind and Oblivion, which have been my most successful so far. After finishing the Honest Hearts DLC, I decided to create one slightly longer episode dedicated to religion in the world of Fallout, rather than focusing only on New Vegas.

As I took a longer period of time off to recharge my batteries after almost three years, my estimate is that the Fallout episode will be out around the end of January. I want to create the best episode yet, and that will simply take more time to deliver the goods, as Judas Priest are singing. In the meantime, I plan to release Shorts from older videos to hopefully attract new people to the channel. After the Fallout video, you can expect an episode about Black Sabbath and religion, as well as a video on modern Paganism in Slovakia.

Thank you again for your support, and keep rocking in 2026!
