🌟 This week, we welcomed a fantastic group of professionals to the Leadership Essentials Program at WHU Executive Education.

From Monday to Wednesday, a highly engaged group of professionals explored what it means to lead with purpose, authenticity, and impact. Through interactive discussions, role-plays, and practical leadership frameworks, participants reflected on their leadership values, learned to motivate and inspire teams, and explored strategies for leading diverse and inclusive work environments.

A special thank you to Professor Fabiola H. Gerpott and Professor Pisitta Vongswasdi for their inspiring sessions and valuable insights throughout the program. We also thank our dedicated program managers, Katja Kielbassa and Elham Neda, for creating such a welcoming and seamless experience.

It was a pleasure to host such a motivated and collaborative group. We look forward to seeing how participants bring their new insights and leadership approaches into their organizations and teams.

The Negotiations Program brought together a full cohort of professionals over the past two days for an intensive, hands-on learning experience.

Led by Professor Lutz Kaufmann and Professor Felix Reimann, participants explored how to navigate complex negotiation settings, manage different negotiation styles, and apply effective strategies to reach sustainable agreements. Through case studies, role-plays, and the WHU Business Negotiations Profile, they strengthened their ability to create value, manage difficult situations, and lead negotiations with confidence.

A special thank you to our program manager, Elham Neda, for ensuring a smooth and engaging experience throughout the program.

📊 Yesterday, we launched our new Digital CFO Program: Digital Transformation in Finance – The CFO Perspective at WHU Campus Düsseldorf.

Over the course of this two-day program, a strong cohort of finance leaders came together to explore how digital technologies are reshaping decision-making, control, and value creation. Through interactive sessions with WHU faculty and PwC experts, participants engaged with topics such as AI applications, digital operating models, and finance transformation in practice.

It was inspiring to see such an engaged group exchange perspectives, share experiences, and work on shaping the future of finance.

Our sincere thanks go to the faculty and guest speakers whose expertise and dedication greatly enriched the program. We are especially grateful to Professor Martin Glaum, Professor Dries Faems, Professor Yuval Kalish, Gori von Hirschhausen, and Prof. Dr. Frauke Schleer-van Gellecom for their valuable contributions and engagement.

We would also like to extend our appreciation to our program managers, Tatjana Schneider and Julia Stark, whose commitment and coordination ensured a seamless and impactful program experience.

Shaping Leadership in Practice: Miele Upper Management Program at WHU!
Over the past few days, we welcomed participants from Miele to the WHU Campus Düsseldorf for the first session of the Upper Management Program.

The program addressed key leadership topics, including managing to shape, ambidextrous leadership, and growth mindset. It also focused on high-performance team development, drawing on the Beyond Leadership Model and the Lencioni Model.

We thank our contributors for their valuable input:
🔹 Holger Prof. Dr. Rohde for leading sessions on leadership transformation, ambidextrous leadership, and GROW coaching
🔹 Matthias Mölleney for his perspectives on high-performance teams and the Beyond Leadership Model

Through a combination of interactive sessions, group discussions, and practical application, participants reflected on their leadership approaches and translated insights into their daily work.

The customized program was delivered in close collaboration with our partner CTcon Management Consultants. Gunnar Elbers, Partner Human Capital & Change, ensured strong alignment with real-world challenges and practical relevance throughout.
