From theory to practice, Building Sustainable Brands
The School of Business Administration was pleased to host Mr. Hatem El Naggar, Branding Consultant and Co-Founder of Pizza Station Ltd., for two sessions as part of the Brand Management course.

During these sessions, Mr. El Naggar shared the journey of Pizza Station, founded in 2002, highlighting how the brand has successfully grown within a highly competitive market. He explored the core pillars of the brand’s DNA, illustrating how its values, positioning, persona, and tone of voice were thoughtfully developed and consistently maintained. He also emphasized the importance of a compelling brand narrative, supported by effective ex*****on and integrated communication strategies tailored to target audiences.

In the second session, students applied their learning by developing brand personas for their projects. Mr. El Naggar provided valuable, constructive feedback, helping them further refine their work in preparation for their final presentations. The sessions also offered practical insights into executing 360-degree campaigns from an agency perspective.

The experience was highly interactive, featuring hands-on activities that guided students through key branding elements—from purpose and positioning to persona development, storytelling, and communication.

We extend our sincere thanks to Mr. Hatem El Naggar for sharing his time and expertise. His passion for branding continues to inspire our students, and we look forward to future collaborations.
This initiative is part of the Brand Management course delivered by Dr. Noha Alaa, with the support of TA Sahar Salem.

Bringing Business Case Study Challenges into the Classroom Series - The Meat Industry Challenge No.2

As part of our Business-to-Business Marketing course, we were pleased to host Dr. Sherif Zaki; CEO of Meat Technology Complex (MTC) and the Founder of MTJ Management Consulting Co. to guide our students in the second session of a series of "Business Case Study Challenges into Action" designed to bring industry perspectives directly into the classroom through a Mini Case study Challenge at the School of Business Administration.

During the session, Dr. Sherif shared with our students the business growth and expansion of the company into both B2B and B2C sectors. Students were challenged to explore the difference in the marketing mix addressing a very challenging industry yet to be well structured to capitalize on the possible growth opportunities from a business and commercial perspective.
Throughout the session, students were encouraged not only to think creatively, but also to apply critical thinking and rapid problem-solving skills. Working on the spot in team, they managed to link the conpany's strategic directions, SWOT analysis and Csutomer understanding to derive the marketing mix for MTC's different markets.
This hands-on approach pushed students beyond theory, encouraging them to think analytically, collaborate effectively, and respond to real market challenges with creativity and informed judgment.

We extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Sherif Zaki a seasoned business leader who managed businesses and the commercial department in mutliple organizations some of which are Nestlé, Coca Cola, Savola, Rich Bake, and Egybelg among others contributing to brand building, market expansion, and growth.
This case study challenge comes as part of the B2B Marketing course under the supervision of Dr. Noha Alaa and TA Menna Magdy.

We were truly honored to welcome Ms. Nour El Gammal, Wadi Group Marketing Team Leader, as a guest speaker in our Public Relations course. Crisis Communication stands as a cornerstone of effective public relations, especially in today’s fast-paced digital world where news can go viral within seconds!

In such an environment, managing communication is not just crucial, it's strategic. Unfortunately, misinformation often spreads faster than the truth. As Winston Churchill put it, "A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on."..

Nour delivered a powerful and insightful session, offering real-world examples on how to successfully communicate crisis situations. She highlighted the critical need for organizations to have a crisis manual with pre-identified scenarios, well-crafted holding statement, relevant media connections, and a stakeholder-centered approach. She also emphasized the significance of media training to ensure that messages are clearly and effectively delivered to the right audience, through the right channels.
Her discussion shed light on how organizations can maintain credibility, protect their reputation, and effectively connect with stakeholders even in the most challenging moments.

We sincerely appreciate Ms. Nour El Gammal for her continued support and valuable contributions, and extend our thanks to TA Menna Magdy for helping make this session a success.

Learning beyond the classroom

Our Business School students recently visited the Grand Egyptian Museum, where marketing theory came to life through a unique, hands-on experience.

As part of the Marketing Strategy course, students explored the luxury brands, analyzing how they craft their positioning from brand storytelling and heritage to exclusivity and customer experience.

But the learning didn’t stop there.

Surrounded by the legacy of one of the world’s oldest civilizations, students discovered that marketing is not a modern invention. Ancient Egypt mastered the art of storytelling using identity, symbolism, and legacy to communicate power, meaning, and eternity.

A powerful reminder that luxury is not just about price or prestige, but about depth, narrative, and cultural significance.

This enriching experience was supervised by Dr. Mostafa El Bolok and TA Haidy Hassan.
