Why X?
Theatre X derives its name from the algebraic symbol X, which stands for an unknown quantity, implying a theatre of unlimited possibility.
Our productions will be focused on the ensemble; actors, directors and designers working together on a production in a more communal, cooperative process. Theatre X does not limit itself to the standard organization of power in society where hierarchal structures lead to a form of competitiveness.
