The British University in Egypt has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with WellSpring Egypt to create more student-centred opportunities focused on experiential learning, well-being, and inclusion.

The collaboration supports the university’s vision of preparing well-rounded graduates and active members of society through leadership experiences, wellness initiatives, and hands-on opportunities that build confidence, empathy, and real-world skills beyond the classroom.

أعلنت الجامعة البريطانية في مصر، برئاسة الأستاذ الدكتور محمد لطفي، رئيس الجامعة، إطلاق شراكة كبرى مع جامعة "كوينز بلفاست" (Queen’s University Belfast) – العضو بنخبة جامعات "مجموعة راسل" البريطانية – التي تضم 24 جامعة من نخبة الجامعات البحثية في المملكة المتحدة، من خلال توقيع بروتوكول تعاون، بموجبه تبدأ جامعة "كوينز" في اعتماد وضمان الجودة الأكاديمية لبرامج كليتي طب الأسنان والصيدلة بالجامعة البريطانية بدءاً من سبتمبر المقبل.

The British University in Egypt launches a major partnership with Queen's University Belfast, a member of the The Russell Group of Universities.

The agreement introduces a Dentistry and Pharmacy Quality Assurance framework, with Queen’s providing external moderation to ensure alignment with UK sector standards and enhance the student learning experience.

Commenting on the partnership, Professor Mohamed Loutfi MBE, President and Vice-Chancellor, highlighted the significance of the collaboration, saying: “We look forward to working closely with colleagues at Queen’s to deliver lasting impact for our academic communities in Egypt and the UK.”

Strengthening international partnerships, one visit at a time.

Professor Alison Honour, Vice-Chancellor of Bournemouth University, made an official visit to The British University in Egypt this week, accompanied by Dr. AbouBakr Fathallah, Dean of International Cooperation and Strategic Partnerships at Bournemouth University. The delegation was welcomed by Professor Mohamed Loutfi MBE, President and Vice-Chancellor of The British University in Egypt.

The visit provided an opportunity to explore areas of common academic interest, exchange perspectives on international higher education, and lay the foundations for a partnership rooted in shared values and long-term ambition.

A tour of the University's academic and student facilities further highlighted the environment in which that partnership would take shape.
