The Petroleum Club (PC) is a student operated organization that is primarily academic whose main aim is to familiarize students from various engineering disciplines with the exciting Petroleum and renewable energy industry and provide academic support. Over the past year PC has had many successful events and lectures given by professionals from Smith Drill Bits, Royal Dutch Shell (Netherlands offi

ce), Cameron, ODE, Schlumberger and the Society for Underwater Technology. These lectures discussed new technologies available in the oil industry and the future of renewable energy in Egypt. Moreover, during the winter break PC facilitated a monumental trip for the Petroleum Engineering students to Texas A&M University, where the students attended lectures, visited the labs and participated in petroleum engineering related workshops.
