شاركت كلية الهندسة – جامعة حورس لأول مرة في مسابقة ECPC التي نظمتها الأكاديمية العربية للعلوم والتكنولوجيا والنقل البحري، بعدد ٩ فرق من طلابها المتميزين.

مسابقة ECPC (Egyptian Collegiate Programming Contest) هي المسابقة الوطنية الرسمية للبرمجة في مصر، وهدفها الأساسي هو تدريب وتأهيل طلاب الجامعات على التفكير الخوارزمي والعمل الجماعي، مع اختيار أفضل الفرق لتمثيل مصر في البطولات الإقليمية والدولية مثل الـ ACPC والـ ICPC World Finals

وقد قدّم الطلاب أداءً مشرفًا، وعملوا بكل جد واجتهاد، ممثلين الكلية بأفضل صورة، ومؤكدين قدرتهم على المنافسة بروح الفريق والإبداع.

نتمنى لهم مزيدًا من النجاح والتوفيق في المشاركات القادمة، وأن يواصلوا رفع اسم الكلية والجامعة عاليًا في المحافل العلمية والبحثية.

في إطار استكمال فعاليات International Summer Training 2026، والتي تستضيف فيه كلية الهندسة – جامعة حورس مصر وفدًا من طلاب University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) للمشاركة في البرنامج التدريبي الدولي:
“Mechatronics Adventure: Science Meets Tourism”

وانطلاقًا من رؤية جامعة حورس مصر في أن التجارب الدولية المتميزة لا تقتصر على الجانب الأكاديمي فحسب، حرصت الجامعة على أن يعيش الطلاب تجربة متكاملة تجمع بين العلم، والتبادل الثقافي، والتعرف على عظمة الحضارة المصرية؛ من خلال برنامج سياحي ثري امتد عبر عدد من أهم المدن والمعالم التاريخية والسياحية في مصر.

🌊 الإسكندرية… عروس البحر المتوسط ومدينة التاريخ والثقافة
زيارة مكتبة الإسكندرية، قلعة قايتباي، والمنتزه، في أجواء تجمع بين الطبيعة الخلابة والتاريخ العريق.

⚓ بورسعيد الباسلة… حيث يلتقي جمال البحر بعظمة المكان
زيارة قناة السويس والتعرف على أهم الممرات الملاحية في العالم، وما تمثله من قيمة استراتيجية واقتصادية لمصر والعالم.

✨ ثلاث مدن… وتجربة واحدة تحكي قصة مصر
من الأهرامات إلى البحر المتوسط وصولًا إلى قناة السويس، حرصت جامعة حورس مصر على أن يعود الطلاب بتجربة متكاملة تجمع بين المعرفة الهندسية والذكريات الثقافية والإنسانية.

As part of the International Summer Training 2026, the Faculty of Engineering – Horus University Egypt hosted a delegation of students from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) to participate in the international training program:
“Mechatronics Adventure: Science Meets Tourism”

هندسه حورس تحتضن بطولة Robo Arena Championship بروح الإبداع والتحدي

وبإشراف
د/ محمود علي العزب – مدير مركز الإبداع والابتكار

أُقيمت بطولة Robo Arena Championship 🏆 بكلية الهندسة – جامعة حورس، بتنظيم مركز الإبداع والابتكار وفريق Arrival، والتي ضمّت مسابقات:

• Sumo Robot Competition
• Race Robot Competition
• Soccer Robot Competition

وقد شهدت البطولة منافسات قوية بين فرق من جامعات مختلفة، شملت: جامعة حورس، جامعة الدلتا، جامعة المنصورة الأهلية، جامعة المنصورة، وجامعة دمياط، في أجواء مليئة بالحماس والتحدي وروح المنافسة.

كما أتاحت البطولة للطلاب فرصة مميزة للتعرف على تجارب جديدة، وتبادل الخبرات والأفكار مع باقي الفرق، إلى جانب اختبار مهاراتهم في التصميم والبرمجة والتحكم والعمل الجماعي.

The Robo Arena Championship 🏆 was held at the Faculty of Engineering – Horus University, organized by the Innovation and Creativity Center and the Arrival Team. The championship included:

• Sumo Robot Competition
• Race Robot Competition
• Soccer Robot Competition

The event witnessed strong competitions among teams from various universities, including Horus University, Delta University, Mansoura National University, Mansoura University, and Damietta University, in an atmosphere full of enthusiasm, challenge, and sportsmanship.

The championship provided students with a valuable opportunity to explore new experiences, exchange knowledge and ideas with other teams, and test their skills in design, programming, control, and teamwork.

We wish all participating teams continued success in upcoming championships and more achievements in the future.

فى اطار اهتمام الكليه بتدريب الطلاب يتقدم أ.د/ حاتم خاطر – عميد كلية الهندسة بجامعة حورس، بخالص الاعتزاز بما يحققه قسم الميكاترونكس من خطوات رائدة في مجال التدريب الميداني، الذي يأتي في إطار حرص الكلية على ربط الجانب الأكاديمي بالتطبيق العملي، وتعزيز مهارات طلابنا وتأهيلهم لسوق العمل، تحت رعاية أ.د إبراهيم صابر – رئيس مجلس الأمناء.

ويواصل طلاب القسم برنامج التدريب الميداني داخل عدد من المؤسسات والشركات الصناعية والهندسية المتميزة، من بينها:

• شركة خالدة للبترول
• ترسانة الإسكندرية
• شركة تداول البضائع والحاويات بميناء دمياط

كما تم تنظيم زيارة ميدانية إلى مصنع شومان بالمنطقة الصناعية بدمياط الجديدة، وذلك ختامًا للدورة التدريبية الخاصة بـ ميكانيات CNC وأساليب التشغيل الحديثة. وقد اشتملت الزيارة على جولة في أقسام المصنع المختلفة:

• Conventional machining
• CNC Machines
• Quality control
• Assembly
• Electricity & PLC

وأثناء الزيارة شارك مجموعة من المهندسين خريجي قسم الميكاترونكس – كلية الهندسة جامعة حورس – مصر، والمعينين بالأقسام المختلفة بالشركة، في توجيه الطلاب وتقديم الإرشادات الخاصة بطبيعة المجال الصناعي والتطبيقي، بما يعزز الربط بين الجانب العلمي والعملي.

وقد تم تنظيم الزيارة بتنسيق كل من:

Prof. Hatem Khater – Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Horus University – proudly highlights the pioneering steps taken by the Mechatronics Department in its field training program. This initiative reflects the faculty’s commitment to bridging academic knowledge with practical application, enhancing students’ skills, and preparing them for the labor market, under the patronage of Prof. Ibrahim Saber – Chairman of the Board of Trustees.

The department’s students continue their training program within several distinguished industrial and engineering institutions, including:

• Khalda Petroleum Company
• Alexandria Shipyard
• Damietta Port Cargo and Container Handling Company

In addition, a field visit was organized to Shoman Factory in New Damietta Industrial Zone, marking the conclusion of the training course on CNC mechanics and modern machining techniques. The visit included tours of several departments:

• Conventional machining
• CNC Machines
• Quality control
• Assembly
• Electricity & PLC

During the visit, engineers – graduates of the Mechatronics Department, Faculty of Engineering, Horus University – currently employed in different sections of the company, guided the students and provided insights into the industrial and practical aspects, strengthening the link between theory and practice.

The visit was organized and coordinated by:

“الابتكارات في الملاحة الذاتية باستخدام التقنيات الذكية”

تناولت المحاضرة أحدث الابتكارات في مجال الأنظمة المستقلة، بما في ذلك تطبيقات الملاحة تحت سطح الماء باستخدام المركبات الذكية، مع إبراز دور التقنيات الذكية في تطوير قدرات الروبوتات والمركبات ذاتية القيادة.
وفي ختام المحاضرة، دار نقاش واسع مع الطلاب، حيث تم طرح العديد من الأسئلة والاستفسارات التي ساعدت على توضيح المفاهيم بشكل أعمق وتعزيز الفهم الأكاديمي لديهم.

Delivered today a distinguished lecture to the Chinese delegation from UESTC – University of Electronic Science and Technology of China entitled:
“Innovations in Autonomous Navigation with Intelligent Technologies”

The lecture explored cutting-edge innovations in autonomous systems, including applications in underwater navigation using intelligent vehicles, highlighting how intelligent technologies are shaping the future of robotics and self-driving platforms.
At the end of the lecture, a wide-ranging discussion with the students took place, where many questions and inquiries were raised, allowing for deeper clarification and enhanced academic understanding.

التدريب الصيفي على برنامج Revit

في إطار حرص كلية الهندسة – جامعة حورس على تنمية مهارات الطلاب وربط الجانب الأكاديمي بالتطبيق العملي، تم تنفيذ التدريب الصيفي على برنامج Revit، بهدف تطوير مهارات طلاب الهندسة المعمارية في مجال النمذجة المعمارية الرقمية والـ BIM.

تضمن التدريب التعرف على أهم أدوات وخصائص برنامج Autodesk Revit وتطبيقها عمليًا في:
• إنشاء النماذج المعمارية ثلاثية الأبعاد.
• إعداد المساقط والواجهات والقطاعات المعمارية.
• التعامل مع الـ Levels والـ Grids والـ Views.
• إنشاء وتعديل العناصر المعمارية المختلفة.
• إعداد اللوحات والتوثيق المعماري.
• فهم العلاقة بين النموذج ثلاثي الأبعاد والرسومات التنفيذية.
• التعرف على أساسيات منهجية Building Information Modeling (BIM).

ويأتي التدريب تأكيدًا على أهمية إكساب الطلاب مهارات رقمية تتوافق مع متطلبات سوق العمل وتساعدهم على الانتقال من مرحلة الرسم التقليدي إلى بيئة التصميم المعماري الرقمية المتكاملة باستخدام Revit.

Summer Training on Revit Program

As part of Horus University’s Faculty of Engineering commitment to enhancing students’ skills and linking academic knowledge with practical application, the summer training on Revit was conducted to develop architecture students’ expertise in digital modeling and BIM.

The training covered the main tools and features of Autodesk Revit, applied practically in:
• Creating 3D architectural models.
• Preparing plans, elevations, and sections.
• Managing Levels, Grids, and Views.
• Creating and modifying architectural elements.
• Preparing sheets and architectural documentation.
• Understanding the link between 3D models and working drawings.
• Learning the fundamentals of Building Information Modeling (BIM).

This training highlights the importance of equipping students with digital skills aligned with market needs, enabling them to move from traditional drawing to an integrated digital design environment using Revit.
