Dr. Hossam Arafa Ghazi is an Egyptian endocrinologist and Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at Mansoura University, specializing in diabetes, endocrinology, and interventional thyroid therapies. He is the President of the Pan Arab Society of Interventional Endocrinology and Diabetes Technology (PASID) and serves as the MENA Co-Chair of the Diabetes Technology Committee at the International Diabetes Federation (IDF).
Dr. Ghazi is a recognized regional leader in thyroid thermal ablation, with over 1,000 procedures performed since 2019, and has trained physicians across multiple countries. His academic interests focus on diabetes technology, metabolic research, and minimally invasive endocrine interventions.
He is an editorial board member of leading journals in diabetes and endocrinology and an active international speaker, contributing to major global conferences and collaborative research initiatives.

د. حسام عرفة غازي هو أستاذ مساعد في الطب الباطني وأخصائي الغدد الصماء من مصر، يعمل بجامعة المنصورة، ومتخصص في مرض السكري، وأمراض الغدد الصماء، وعلاجات الغدة الدرقية التداخلية.
يشغل منصب رئيس الجمعية العربية للتداخلات في الغدد الصماء وتكنولوجيا السكري (PASID)، كما يعمل كنائب رئيس إقليمي (الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا) للجنة تكنولوجيا السكري بالاتحاد الدولي للسكري (IDF).
يُعد د. غازي من القيادات البارزة إقليميًا في مجال الاستئصال الحراري لعقيدات الغدة الدرقية، حيث أجرى أكثر من 1000 حالة منذ عام 2019، وقام بتدريب أطباء في عدة دول.
تركز اهتماماته الأكاديمية على تكنولوجيا السكري، وأبحاث التمثيل الغذائي، والتدخلات المحدودة التوغل في الغدد الصماء.
وهو عضو في هيئات تحرير عدد من أبرز المجلات العلمية في مجالي السكري والغدد الصماء، ومتحدث دولي نشط، يشارك في كبرى المؤتمرات العالمية والمشروعات البحثية التعاونية.
