When students are given real platforms, their work travels further.

Proud to see Prof. Heba Nayef, Dean of the CLC, honored at the 5th Media Science Festival for her continuous support of student, media, and cultural activities.

This honor reflects a belief we see in action every day: that students grow when they are trusted and given opportunities to show what they can do.

Special thanks to Prof. Samy El-Sherif and Prof. Hassan Emad.

Another proud CLC win..

Our students’ campaign Z-Crafts won Third Place in the Digital Advertising category at the 5th Media Science Festival.

The project brings Egyptian handmade crafts closer to younger generations, using digital platforms and interactive workshops to highlight local artisans and their work.

Congratulations to the team, under the supervision of Dr. Shahinaz Hesham and Mr. Khaled Eltokhy.

From a classroom desk to a conference presentation.

Proud of our student Habiba Sadek, who presented her research at the Young Researchers’ Conference – 1st Edition by Media Impact Lab – CIC and won the Best Paper Award for Undergraduates.

Her paper, “The Effectiveness of Social Media in Raising Awareness About Gender Equality Among University Students,” was developed as part of the Research Methods course, under the supervision of Dr. Yasmeen Ali and Ms. Sara Safwat.

Research can feel intimidating at first. But moments like this show what our students can do when they are challenged, guided, and given the tools to build serious academic work.

Our real achievements are the platforms we build for students.

Congratulations to Associate Prof. Sally Gad and Associate Prof. Sally Tayie on being recognized as Pioneers in Media and Youth Engagement at the Young Researchers’ Conference – 1st Edition by Media Impact Lab – CIC.

This recognition comes after years of work that gave young media students a place to speak, compete, debate, and be taken seriously.

From the Arab Youth Media Creativity Summit, led by Associate Prof. Sally Gad, to the MIL Debates in collaboration with UNESCO, led by Associate Prof. Sally Tayie, their efforts have turned student engagement into real academic and professional opportunities.

A day we all needed..

Our students shared a meaningful afternoon with Mostafa Hosny, in a talk that reminded us of the value of morals and ethics in everyday life.

He spoke about being less attached to material things, and choosing to give more through our knowledge, our support, our positive energy, and sometimes simply through a listening heart for someone who needs it.

Thank you, Mostafa Hosny, for a warm and inspiring conversation that left a beautiful impact on our CLC community.
