جامعة السويس تحيي الذكرى الأولى للشهيد الرائد عبدالرحمن عزالدين حسيني، وتكرم الفائزين في مسابقة حفظة كتاب الله

نظمت جامعة السويس اليوم احتفالية كبرى بمناسبة الذكرى الأولى لرحيل الشهيد الرائد عبدالرحمن عزالدين حسيني، وذلك بحضور اللواء أ.ح هاني رشاد علي محافظ السويس، واللواء حسام الدين الدُح مساعد وزير الداخلية مدير أمن السويس، أ.د. أشــــــــــرف حنيجــــــــــل رئيـــــس جامعـــــة السويـــــس د. محمد علام نائب المحافظ إلى جانب لفيف من القيادات الأمنية والشعبية والتنفيذية بالمحافظة.
بدأ الحفل بالسلام الوطني لجمهورية مصر العربية، تلاه تلاوة آيات من القرآن الكريم بصوت الطالب أحمد محمد من معهد الجناين الإعدادي الأزهري. ثم شاهد الحضور فيلمًا تسجيليًا بعنوان روحانيات جامعة السويس من إنتاج المركز الإعلامي بالجامعة، أعقبه عرض فني للتنورة قدمه الفنان إسلام تايجر، وعرض إنشاد ديني لفريق الجامعة.
وقد أكد أ.د.أشــــــــــرف حنيجــــــــــل رئيـــــس الجامعـــــة في كلمته أن هذه الذكرى تأتي في أجواء الشهر الفضيل لتجدد العهد بالوفاء لتضحيات أبناء مصر الأبرار، مشيرًا إلى أن استشهاد الرائد عبدالرحمن عزالدين في أيام مباركة من رمضان الماضي يظل شاهدًا على الإخلاص في العمل والوفاء للوطن.
كما أوضح "حنيجــــــــــل" أن الجامعة لا تقتصر على دورها العلمي فقط، بل تسعى أيضًا إلى غرس الإيمان في النفوس وربط الأجيال بكتاب الله، ليظل العلم والإيمان جناحين ينهض بهما الوطن. كما شدد على أن استقرار مصر هو ثمرة رؤية وطنية مستنيرة وتضحيات جسيمة، وأن الجامعة تؤمن برسالتها الوطنية التي لا تكتمل إلا بالتعاون الوثيق مع مؤسسات الدولة، خاصة محافظة السويس، في خدمة المجتمع وتنميته.
من جانبه، أكد اللواء أ.ح هاني رشاد علي محافظ السويس على أهمية التكامل بين مؤسسات الدولة، لاسيما الجامعة والمحافظة، مشيرًا إلى أن هذا التعاون يعزز التنمية المحلية ويخدم أبناء السويس في مختلف المجالات. وأشاد بالدور الحيوي الذي تقوم به جامعة السويس في دعم المبادرات التعليمية والثقافية والصحية، بما يعكس مكانتها كصرح وطني يخدم المجتمع ويشارك في بناء مستقبل أفضل.
شهد الحفل تكريم السادة مشايخ الأوقاف المشاركين في تحكيم المسابقة، والفائزين في مسابقة حفظ القرآن الكريم والإنشاد الديني، إضافة إلى تكريم عدد من أساتذة الجامعة الذين أسهموا بخدمات جليلة للجامعة، وهم:
- أ.د. عزالدين حسيني جاد نائب رئيس الجامعة لشئون التعليم والطلاب
- أ.د. جمال سلامة عميد كلية السياسة والاقتصاد السابق
- أ.د. أسامة قدور عميد كلية الثروة السمكية السابق
واختتمت الفعاليات وسط أجواء من الفخر والاعتزاز، حيث أكد الحضور أن ذكرى الشهيد ستظل حاضرة في وجدان أبناء السويس، وأن الجامعة ستواصل دورها في تخليد أسماء من ضحوا بأرواحهم دفاعًا عن الوطن.

Suez University Commemorates the First Anniversary of the Martyr Major Abdelrahman Ezzeldin Husseini and Honors Winners of the Qur’an Memorization Competition

Suez University organized a major celebration today marking the first anniversary of the passing of the martyr Major Abdelrahman Ezzeldin Husseini. The event was attended by Major General Hany Rashad Ali, Governor of Suez; Major General Hossam El-Din El-Doh, Assistant Minister of Interior and Director of Suez Security; Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal, President of Suez University; and Dr. Mohamed Allam, Deputy Governor, along with a number of security, public, and executive leaders from the governorate.
The ceremony began with the National Anthem of the Arab Republic of Egypt, followed by a recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an by the student Ahmed Mohamed from Al-Ganayen Al-Azhari Preparatory Institute. The audience then watched a documentary film titled “Spiritualities of Suez University,” produced by the University’s Media Center. This was followed by a Tanoura performance presented by the artist Islam Tiger, as well as a religious chanting performance by the university’s choir.
In his speech, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal, President of the University, affirmed that this commemoration comes during the blessed month of Ramadan, renewing the pledge of loyalty to the sacrifices of Egypt’s noble sons. He noted that the martyrdom of Major Abdelrahman Ezzeldin during the blessed days of last Ramadan remains a testament to sincerity in service and devotion to the homeland.
Dr. Heniegal further explained that the university’s role is not limited to academic education; it also seeks to instill faith and spiritual values and to connect generations with the Holy Qur’an, so that knowledge and faith remain the two wings upon which the nation rises. He also emphasized that Egypt’s stability is the result of enlightened national vision and immense sacrifices. The university, he added, believes in its national mission, which is fulfilled through close cooperation with state institutions—particularly the Suez Governorate—in serving the community and advancing its development.
For his part, Major General Hany Rashad Ali, Governor of Suez, stressed the importance of integration among state institutions, especially between the university and the governorate. He noted that such cooperation enhances local development and serves the people of Suez across various sectors. He praised the vital role played by Suez University in supporting educational, cultural, and health initiatives, reflecting its standing as a national institution dedicated to community service and to building a better future.
During the ceremony, the participating Endowments (Awqaf) sheikhs who served as judges in the competition were honored, along with the winners of the Qur’an Memorization and Religious Chanting Competition. The university also honored several professors who have rendered distinguished service to the institution:

Prof. Dr. Gamal Salama, Former Dean of the Faculty of Politics and Economics
Prof. Dr. Osama Qadour, Former Dean of the Faculty of Fish Resources
The event concluded in an atmosphere of pride and appreciation, with attendees affirming that the memory of the martyr will remain alive in the hearts of the people of Suez, and that the university will continue its role in honoring those who sacrificed their lives in defense of the homeland.
