Alumni of the Master in TFFL, Mebrahtom Gebretsadkan (wearing the red chemise on the picture), who is now Haramaya University's French Department Head, has spent last summer in France, in full language immersion, thanks to a training sponsored by the Military Mission!

Alumni du Master FLE, Mebrahtom Gebretsadkan (avec la chemise rouge sur la photo), aujourd'hui chef du département de français d'Haramaya University, a pu passer l'été dernier en France, en totale immersion linguistique, grâce à un stage proposé par la mission militaire !

Save the date: Mr. Christian Ollivier, a specialist of Language Teaching and Pedagogy, will give a lecture on "The use of tasks in language teaching and learning" (in the framework of the Language/Action perspective) on Thursday, 25th of January, at the French Unit. All MA students are welcome!

Christian Ollivier, spécialiste de didactique, donnera une conférence sur "Les tâches pour l'enseignement-apprentissage des langues" (dans le cadre de la perspective actionnelle) le jeudi 25 janvier après-midi à l'unité de français. Cette conférence est ouverte à tous les étudiants de Master !

Addis Ababa University a récemment accueilli la réunion des chefs des départements de français de la Corne de l'Afrique pour deux jours de discussion entres acteurs de la région et de formation dans le domaine du FOS 😊. Cet événement a été organisé en partenariat avec l'AUF - Moyen-Orient et l'Ambassade de France en Éthiopie et auprès de l'Union africaine የፈረንሳይ ኤምባሲ.

Addis Ababa University recently hosted the Meeting of the French Departments of the Horn of Africa, a two days long workshop to exhange amongst partners of the region and train in the field of French for Specific Purposes 😊. This event was co-organised with the AUF Moyen Orient and the Embassy of France in Ethiopia.

Wondwossen and Meselu, 2nd year MA students and representatives of Addis Ababa University in Beirut, Lebanon, for the 2017 edition of the literary prize "Le choix Goncourt de l'Orient" organised by the AUF - Moyen-Orient. Veronique Olmi's book "Bakhita" was both their favorite book and the one that won the prize!
