Dear Members of the Salale University Community, Local, National, and International Partners, Friends, and Family

It gives me great pleasure and honor to extend my heartfelt greetings to all members of the Salale University community and to the wider public on the joyous occasion of Ethiopian Christmas, Genna.

Ethiopian Christmas is a sacred time that reminds us of the enduring values of peace, humility, compassion, and shared humanity. It is a moment for spiritual renewal, family unity, and reflection on our responsibilities to one another and to our nation. As we celebrate the birth of Christ, we are called to renew our commitment to love, service, and hope—values that are deeply aligned with the mission of our University.

At Salale University, we take pride in our role as a center of learning, research, innovation, and community engagement. Despite challenges, our academic staff, administrative personnel, students, and partners have continued to demonstrate resilience, dedication, and excellence. Your collective efforts have strengthened our institution and advanced our contribution to local and national development.

Dear Members of the Salale University Community and All Stakeholders,
On behalf of the management of Salale University and on my own behalf, I am honored to extend my warmest greetings and best wishes to all our students, academic staff, administrative personnel, alumni, partners, and friends on the occasion of the New Year 2026.
The beginning of a New Year offers us a meaningful opportunity to reflect on the journey we have traveled together, to appreciate our achievements, and to renew our commitment to the responsibilities that lie ahead. The year we have completed was marked by both challenges and successes, yet through collective effort, resilience, and dedication, our university continued to move forward in fulfilling its mission, vision, and core values.
Salale University remains committed to promoting academic excellence, advancing research and innovation, and serving society through knowledge and ethical leadership. The progress we have made is the result of the hard work, professionalism, and unity demonstrated by every member of our community, the local, regional, and federal government as well as our partners. For this, I extend my sincere gratitude to you all.

The Anti-Corruption Club of Salale University held a meeting with the old and new students of the Club on the Rights and Obligations of the Members as well as Electing new Committees and Various Advices to the Club members and to be an Example for other students. They also discussed how the 22nd National Ethics and Anti-Corruption Day and the 4th At Our Unversity Ethics and Corruption Day will be celebrated next Thursday at the Salale Oromo Cultural Center and All Members must be presence.
