Thrilled to announce that I will coordinate the ISCAR region of Southern Europe & Middle East. Katerina Plakitsi has been an exemplar leader combining both ISCAR presidency and the coordination of the region; I'm glad to count on her support and the colleagues electing me for this responsibility 🤗 I hope to serve the community the best I can and bringing an pluralist epistemological perspective for advancing the research in the study of human activity.

China Central Television (CCTV+), the national broadcaster, highlighted key moments from the 'Forum on and the Future of Teaching' at Beijing Normal University and UNESCO IITE in Beijing🐉. I’m grateful for the invitation and the opportunity to share the research framework and the creative pedagogy from the MSc. Smart Ed Tech - Université Côte d'Azur program, alongside Saint-Clair Lefevre, Li Chengcheng, and Oksana Strutynska.🤗

Creative exploration of is essential to highlight the limitations of how model the world. To push these boundaries, I tested two different with scenarios that are absurd ( limits), impossible, or even immoral. I presented them with situations like living 4,000 feet below sea level, having 10 husbands, savoring chicken milk, or trying to bake a cake using Lego bricks as ingredients. The results from OpenAI’s (https://lnkd.in/ev7TFcti) and Anthropic’s are quite similar, except when it comes to managing one particularly angry husband.

🧐 Overview 🧐

- This paper explores how educators can integrate AI technology into their teaching practices to enhance student learning.
- The researchers developed a formative intervention program to help pre-service teachers, in-service teachers, and EdTech specialists understand AI and apply it creatively in their lesson plans.
- The intervention focused on building AI literacy and the ability to thoughtfully incorporate AI tools and techniques into educational activities, while considering the ethical implications.

🤗 Plain English Explanation 🤗

The paper discusses how artificial intelligence (AI) has accelerated innovations in many aspects of people's lives. While AI-enhanced learning has already been explored, the researchers argue that educators now need to develop their own AI literacy and learn how to effectively integrate AI into their teaching.
To address this need, the researchers created a formative intervention program in collaboration with Terra Numerica and Maison de l'Intelligence Artificielle. The program aimed to help pre-service teachers, in-service teachers, and EdTech specialists enhance their understanding of AI and learn how to creatively apply it in their lesson designs.
During the workshops, participants explored different ways to integrate AI literacy into education, including the ethical considerations and potential for innovative pedagogy. The approach emphasized not only familiarizing professionals with AI, but also empowering them to collaboratively design AI-enhanced educational activities that promote learner engagement and personalized learning experiences.
Through this process, participants developed the necessary skills and mindset to effectively leverage AI while maintaining a critical awareness of its implications in education.

👉 The rapid evolution of hashtag technologies and emerging student AI uses can be challenging for teachers and educators at various educational levels. To address these challenges, identified within the MSc. Smart Ed Tech - Université Côte d'Azur, Terra Numerica (Brigitte Trousse, Dorian Mazauric), Maison de l'Intelligence Artificielle, and INSPE de l'Académie de Nice, I developed a workshop and template to support the co-design of AI-supported learning activities.

🎰 In the first stage of the co-design workshop, educators explore and "play" with different AI tools such as , , and . Following this playful experience, a debriefing session is held to identify both the creative potential (hashtag ) and the limitations of these tools. Educators then engage in a collaborative design process to create AI-supported learning activities tailored for their classrooms.

🌟This half-day workshop provides a hands-on, enjoyable experience that helps educators leverage AI to support various teaching and learning activities, meeting the diverse needs of their learners.
