We had a fantastic turn out for our society ‘Curry & Quiz Night’ tonight at Brynmawr RFC 🌶️ ✍️

Thank you to everyone who bought tickets and also to Brynmawr RFC for hosting us and providing a delicious curry during the quiz interval - a fabulous time was had by all and it was a great way to get together, have some fun and raise funds for our upcoming productions! 🎭

Introducing our final cast member… the one and only;

ANNIE 🧡

Little Orphan Annie is a spirited and resilient young orphan, typically depicted with bright red hair and a determined expression, who navigates a harsh and uncertain world with remarkable optimism. Despite growing up without parents or stability, she is fiercely independent, quick-witted, and resourceful, often outsmarting adults and overcoming difficult situations through courage and perseverance. What truly defines Annie is her unwavering belief that things will get better—she remains kind-hearted and hopeful even in the face of hardship, embodying the idea that strength of character and a positive outlook can triumph over adversity.

Our Annie is played by Hallie. Hallie is 9 years old and has been with AYDMS for just under a year, making Annie Jr her first AYDMS show.

Hallie is thrilled to be playing the role of Annie in Annie Jr.

Hallie’s favourite scene is where Annie meets Sandy the dog, and her favourite song to perform is "I Don’t Need Anything But You".

Hallie is very excited to bring Annie’s story to the stage, and hopes that the audience enjoys watching the show! 🎭
