Weekend Round-Up 🐴🏆

Our members were busy over the weekend, out competing and training, and we had some fantastic results to celebrate!

Foresterseat XC ODE & Hunter Trial

🥇 Madi & Moose stepped up to the 90cm ODE and took home 1st place, along with a qualifier for the Scottish Hunter Trial Championship.

🥇 Jess & Poppy secured 1st place in the 50cm ODE.

🏅 Jenny & Carter achieved a fantastic 4th place in the 60cm ODE

🥈 Lauren & Duchess finished 2nd in their first 60cm Hunter Trial.

🥉 Besque & Spencer took 3rd place in their first 30cm Hunter Trial.

🥉 Lucy & Magic finished 3rd in the 80cm Hunter Trial.

Howe Outdoor to Indoor Showcross

🥇🥇 Lucy & Marney had an excellent day, taking 1st place in both the 40cm and 50cm classes.

🥉🥈 Charlotte & Mystik also had great results, finishing 3rd in the 40cm and 2nd in the 50cm.

Training Success

Grace & Leon headed to Strathearn Eventing with Sarah Holden for some cross-country training. Their aim was to gain experience, and they certainly did that, confidently tackling bigger jumps than originally planned and continuing to build a strong partnership together.

A huge well done to all our riders, ponies, trainers, and supporters. We are incredibly proud of everyone’s hard work and achievements this weekend! 👏🐎💚

☀️🐴 Weekly Rally 🐴☀️

What a lovely evening for our weekly rally! The riders enjoyed a fantastic flatwork session in the beautiful sunshine at Lindores Equestrian.

It was great to see everyone working hard on their position, balance, and horse-rider partnership while making the most of the gorgeous weather. Well done to all our members and ponies for their enthusiasm and effort!

A fantastic weekend for our members at Fife Show 🐴🏆

• Christie and Squirrel took the win in the BSPS Training Stakes Working Hunter 60cm class qualifying then for them for the west of Scotland extravaganza training stakes championship at Muirmill, as well as taking 4th place in the 70cm class.

• Grace and Leon had a brilliant day, finishing 4th in Junior Equitation, 2nd in Novice Pony, and Reserve Champion in the Novice Horse & Pony Section.

• Jenny and Carter brought home Overall Champion in the Novice Horse & Pony Section.

• Madi and Moose achieved 1st place in the M&M Open WHP 85–100cm class, qualifying for Scone International Horse Trials, as well as 4th place in the Training Stakes 80cm class.

Well done everyone — fantastic results all round! 👏

Another beautiful evening at Lindores Equestrian🌅 Some of our members headed up the hill for the first time this season for XC and others enjoyed practising over the Working Hunter jumps.

A huge thank you to our wonderful coaches, Dossie, Milly and Rachael, for all their support and encouragement! 🐴✨

Last week Willow took a wee break from her exams and headed to Windsor Horse Show to receive her Gold YELA award. It was a very special moment for Willow, her mum, support crew and the whole club!!.

Willow was the only Area1 member among 16 from across the UK who achieved Gold and the first from Glenrothes, we are very proud !.

However, she was in very good company with volunteers being recognised for 30, 40, 50 and 60 years of service to Pony Club at the ceremony…… will this be Willow in 2086??🥂🥂🤷‍♀️🙃🙃.

🐴Weekend round up🐴

A fantastic weekend out and about for our members with lots of great riding, partnerships growing in confidence, and some brilliant results! 🐴💜

📍 Brechin British Eventing – BE80 U18’s
🏅 Madi & Moose took home a fantastic 6th place
👏 Lizzie & Gizmo may have missed out on ribbons this time, but they jumped a lovely clear showjumping round and had a great cross-country run.
⭐️Grace was also along at Brechin Castle lending a hand as a jump judge.

📍 Fife Riding Club Open Mini XC
🥉 Katy & Berry — 3rd in both the 50cm and 60cm
🥈 Katy & Brambles — 2nd in the 50cm
🥇 Elsie & Bandit — 1st in the 50cm
🥇 Rose & Terry — 1st in the XPoles
🥇 Lauren & Dutchess — 1st in the 60cm
🥈 Besque & Spencer — tackled their very first competition together and came 2nd in the XPoles in another exciting new partnership!
👏Lucy & Marney also tackled their very first mini XC together in their new partnership and just missed out on the placings — a great achievement for their debut!

Well done to Christie who showed her support and encouragement to her fellow GPC members, and ran around the mini XC course with Besque 🏃🏽‍♀️

Well done everyone — it’s lovely to see so many combinations out competing, gaining experience, and enjoying themselves. 👏💜

A brilliant rally on Thursday night. We were very lucky with the weather too☀️ — thankfully the rain stayed away! A lovely night of riding, learning and fun for everyone involved

The working hunter field was busy with riders learning and building confidence over the fences, while the sand arena hosted the show jumping sessions with plenty of great rounds and improvements throughout the night. Over in the grass field, members had lots of fun tackling the handy pony course and practising their skills.

🐴 Weekend Round-Up 🐴

What a fantastic weekend our members have had out and about 🌟 From One Day Events to Hunter Trials, Showing classes and Show Jumping, it’s been wonderful to see so many of our riders and ponies enjoying themselves, achieving great results, and supporting one another.

🏇 Huge well done to everyone!

On Saturday:
🐴 Grace and Leon were at Howe for the May Showing Show, coming home with a 2nd in Ring Experience and a 2nd in the Novice Pony class — an amazing result for their very first show.

On Sunday, a few of our members were competing at Foresterseat’s ODE and HT:
🐴 Madi and Moose qualified for the Scottish HT, coming 2nd in the 80cm ODE.
🐴 Jess and Poppy came home with a 5th in the 50cm ODE.
🐴 Sienna and Summer came home with a 5th place in the 60cm ODE.
🐴 Rose and Fudge qualified for the Scottish HT, coming 2nd in the 80cm class and 1st in the 60cm Pairs class.
🐴 Savannah and Casper gave the 30cm HT class a go for their very first time — a great experience for them!

Whether you came home with ribbons, achieved a personal best, or simply enjoyed a successful day out with your pony, we are incredibly proud of you all

What a week it's been for our DC Viv and her best boy Frankie competing at Badminton Horse Trials. We are all a little bit in awe, have been glued to your photo updates and can't wait to hear the stories. Super well done to Viv, Frankie, David and Jenny..... onwards to 2027 !

A fantastic start to our Summer Season 2026 with our first ridden rally held at Lindores Equestrian ☀️🐴

It was great to see so many of our members back in the saddle and enjoying their flatwork lessons in both the sand and grass arenas. Everyone worked hard and there were lots of happy faces!

A huge thank you to our wonderful coaches Milly, Annette and Dossie for all their help and encouragement.

We’re looking forward to a fun-filled summer ahead! 🌟
