Ulster University University and Northern Ireland Screen are asking you to sign up to take part in an exciting study about Moving Image Arts qualifications and the Creative Industries in Northern Ireland.

Your views about the Moving Image Arts qualification in its 20th year can help to shape it’s future!

And it’s a wrap on . It was such a joy to work with this group of phenomenal women. Their creativity and resourcefulness is exceptional. We were blown away by the fantastic films they produced, which evidenced the raw talent of this group across all areas of filmmaking: screenwriting and the ability to visualise and conceptualise an effective short film; cinematography, framing and composition; sound design and editing, highly original and creative set design and use of props; a fantastic sense of narrative ebb and flow and rhythm in the final edit. Thank you invitation to talk about our Animation degrees!

Form 4, 5, L6 & M6 students had the pleasure of listening to a talk by visiting Co-course Director Dr Henry Melki, of BDes Hons Animation at Ulster University Belfast in school on Thursday 27th October. Animation is a studio-focused, highly creative course, specialising in computer animation for games, VFX, feature and TV animation, and Dr Melki gave insight on the course and opportunities available to students after progressing through the degree.
