The only national UK conference for wildlife rehabilitatators, veterinary colleagues, students and other interested parties, BWRC Symposia have been providing professional development and networking opportunities for those in the field of UK wildlife rehabilitation since 1988.
This year's presenters will include ROMAIN PIZZI disussing management of bone fractures in birds, EMMA KEEBLE describing common problems in seabirds and waterfowl, early results from research into the impact of rehabilitation of hedgehogs from LUCY BEARMAN-BROWN, LIZ MULLINEAUX reviewing DEFRA's new badger relocation protocol and the new BSAVA manual and BVZS guidelines, and GEOFF EDMONDS describing the work of the RSPCA Wildlife Inspectorate.
We will also continue open discussions about self-regulation in wildlife rehabilitation, and have practical demonstrations and case studies from several of our veterinary experts.
