The University of Edinburgh’s Senate Quality Assurance Committee (SQAC) is currently undertaking a thematic review of student-facing services to better understand how they support and impact LGBTQ+ students. Student consultation is a key part of this work, and we are now inviting students to sign up to take part in consultation sessions where they can share their experiences and suggestions.

Take a look at our website for information about how to get involved including specific undergraduate and postgraduate consultation sessions.

Student input will directly inform recommendations to improve services and support for LGBTQ+ students across the University. Participation is voluntary, and students may share as much or as little as they feel comfortable.

Every year we help to keep tons out of landfills and rubbish bins through our Big Sort! 💙

From old textbooks to jeans and a nice top, each summer we help to collect, donate, recycle and give a second life to thousands of items left behind by those in University of Edinburgh accommodation.

Volunteer for the Big Sort to help collect these items and have first dibs on any treasures you find 🙌
