Dear CrimSoc students,

Please find attached two invitations for an exhibition called 'Displaced' which is based on arts-based research completed in a women's refuge during Summer 2016. This is a collaboration between myself, Dr Benedetta Cappellini (School of Management, Royal Holloway) and Dr Susana Campos (artist in residence; School of Law) and Solace Women's Aid. The project explored the role of possessions when rebuilding social identities after domestic violence. There is a private view at Bedford Square in London on Tuesday 1st November and the main exhibition is at Founder's Building at Royal Holloway on Wednesday 2nd November. Both events are free to attend but we would like people attending the London event to register in advance as places are limited.

Best wishes,

Vicki

Hi everyone!! We know that some of you couldn't make the time frame set aside for interviews today, but if you are free at any point this week, or next week before Wednesday, you can contact either Ananya Yadav or Anakha Nambiar on facebook to schedule a time to meet with us.

The meeting will entail a short discussion about why you want to be a part of the society, and what makes you good for it. It is very informal, so don't be intimidated by the process! If you are unsure about the role you want, we are happy to answer any questions about it. Hope to see you soon! :D
