What a great afternoon at the Langside Campus Summer Festival. With a World Cup theme to celebrate Scotland taking part, there was a real buzz across campus, live music, good food, handmade crafts, games, and even a tombola! Big thanks to our Supported Education team for organising 👏

Huge congratulations to Highers alumni Muireann Crawford who was in the top five highest-scoring candidates in the country for Higher Religious, Moral and Philosophical Studies (RMPS) last year, and has been awarded a National Certificate of Excellence by the Scottish Teachers Association of RME, along with a book voucher.

Muireann is now studying a Philosophy degree at Aberdeen University, and we wish her all the very best for the rest of her studies!

Congratulations to NCTJ Journalism student Findlay Brown who was named Sports Writer of the Year at the recent Herald Student Press Awards.

Findlay impressed the judges with the breadth of his work, including a powerful piece on a community football team who had to rearrange their fixtures after being told by the league they entered, that some of their players “weren’t disabled enough”.
