A happy result for Hartpury’s feline family! 🐾

Back in September, a stray cat and her kittens were discovered hiding on the Hartpury campus. Thanks to the care and dedication of our team, including caretaker Naomi, and the support of Cheltenham Animal Shelter, Mum and all seven kittens were safely rescued and taken into the shelter’s care ❤️

The whole family was given the care they needed and now caretaker Naomi is adopting Mum and one of her tortoiseshell kittens. Thank you to everyone involved in helping this little family find their new, future homes 🐱

Last weekend, our Wildlife Society with Dr Rich Billington carried out a point count of visible bird migration on campus as part of World Migratory Bird Days. The theme this year was Every Bird Counts and surveys took place all over the globe.

Our counts contributed to the global data and allowed our students to learn a little more about the wonders of bird migration 🐦
