Good morning everyone!

The organising committee hope you're well this chilly morning.

The Post Graduate Research (PGR) community in the School of Politics and International Studies at the University of Hull is organising a one-day conference on "International Women's Day", 2023 in order to enhance the academic and research discourse on Women's rights. It also intends to raise public awareness of gender-equality and equity.

This is our first call for abstracts on the following themes:

- Revisiting the History of Feminism and Feminist Studies
- Feminist Waves: First, Second, Third and Fourth
- Contemporary Feminist Studies
- Peace, Conflict Resolution and Feminism
- Feminism and Development Discourses
- International Institutional Mechanism for Women's Rights
- Feminism and Pedological Studies
- Religion, Culture and Women
- Women and Politics and in Modern Democracy
- Women crossing the National States' boarders
- Women and Climate Change

This event is open for both undergraduate and postgraduates , so please do share with anyone who you think might be interested in participating.
