Another one of these. Congrats to the Blue Footed B***y on winning the last round - a very closely fought battle. This time it's the Andean condor against our finest wood pigeon. Will the condor's staggering flight altitude of up to 5.5km give it the edge? Or will the sheer number of wood pigeons (2.5 million breeding pairs in the UK) overwhelm the condor? The photography competition has been judged and it's time for the winner to be announced!! 📸🏆

The winner is Brendan Gunn with their incredible shot from the Stairway to Heaven, Cuilcagh Boardwalk in Northern Ireland. This photograph was chosen due to its calming nature, pleasing colours and fantastic quality. Congratulations Brendan, your picture will be our new cover photo!

The runner up of the competition is Finley Watkins with their dramatic shot from the United Kingdom Sailing Academy (UKSA) on the Isle of Wight. Well done Finley!

We'd like to thank Africa Gómez for judging the competition and helping us choose a winner along with everyone who submitted a photograph. There were lots of fantastic submissions! Keep your eyes peeled for our next competition!

Yes it's a day late. BUT. It's here! That's right gang it's the giveaway you never knew you needed but now you can't stop thinking about. 20 whole pounds to spend on the delicious array of tasty refreshments available at Old Grey Mare, a respectable fiver to spend on an enormous array of products to be vanned right to your door and a place in the hearts of all of the good folks over here at UoH BAMS. Entries are still open for our photo competition until the 9th October! 📸

Some of you have had trouble uploading pictures but we've updated the page and this should now be sorted - please let us know if you have any issues and we'll be happy to help. 😁

As part of Induction Week we will be launching our first photo competition!! The theme for our first competition is 'On The Horizon' - we want you to send us your scenic landscape shots from in and around the United Kingdom. 📸

Scan the QR code in the image or follow the link below - this will take you to a Canvas page where you can submit your entry. Submissions close on the 09/10/20 and winners will be chosen soon after.
