Pearson are recruiting General Markers for the London based marking centre.

To be considered for the role, applicants must have completed their degree within the last 10 years, or are expected to complete their degree this Summer.
General markers score test or exam questions for which no subject specific knowledge or teaching experience is required.

Marking will be marking centre based at the Holborn office. Contracts will commence on 20th May with an expected completion date of 11th June. Markers will be required to attend the marking centre on a daily basis for the duration of the contract. There will be both a day and evening shift available.

General markers will be paid the living wage which is £10.55PH

The Spotlight on Pharmacy and Chemistry event is taking place on 2nd February 2017. The aim of the event is to give you, as Kingston University students, an overview of some of the different career paths available. The event is structured in such a way that you will get to hear first-hand from industry professionals about their career journey, as well as a practical element where you can put your interviewing skills into practice. Not only that, these industry professionals are largely made up of Kingston alumni!
The event is structured in two parts:
Part 1: The first part of the evening will be a facilitated industry-led panel discussion from professionals in a variety of roles. The panel discussion will last for 45 minutes, followed by a short Q&A session.
Part 2: The second part of the evening involves our ‘now famous’ speed interviewing! This stage of the event gives you the opportunity to be interviewed, for three minutes, in an exciting, friendly environment. As students, you will have the opportunity to meet and network with Kingston alumni industry professionals.
