Happy Thursday everyone! Here's a wonderful drawing full of yellow to brighten your day. Wishing you all great weather like the magnificent sun on this kite🌞🌞🌞.

Also, check out that little piano and purple butterfly.πŸ¦‹πŸŽΉ Beautiful work done by Holly and Izzy, and signed at tha bottom by the artists! We can’t wait to see this kite fly on a sunny day like that.

Challenge: Be inspired by this kite to find something yellow in your house and do a drawing or painting of it. It’s time to pay attention and be inspired by the objects surrounding you. Good luck with your yellow hunting! πŸ‹πŸŒπŸŒ½πŸ§€πŸŽΊπŸ›΅πŸ§½πŸ“’πŸš•πŸŒ™πŸŒΌβ˜€οΈπŸ’›

Have a look at the EPIC tale told on this kite of someone's crazy beach adventures featuring SuperDogs, Sharks and Clouds that can hug you back with spaghetti arms!

Challenge: Can you create 4 scenes telling an epic and outrageous tale of your own in this comic-style design from this kite?

Here's one of the lovely kites you all made in our workshops! Check out the pop-up circus someone added to their ideal beach 😍 Elephants relaxing in the sun on a beach is definitely something we could all do with at the moment!

Creative Challenge: Be inspired by this kite to draw and create the most ridiculous circus feature you would LOVE to see pop-up on Morecambe beach

Hi everyone!

Unfortunately, due to the tough situation we find ourselves in as a nation, we are postponing our Kite Flying date until further notice. Whilst this is such a shame, we want to ensure everyone that the kites you all created during our workshops are all being kept safe, and it is our best intention to still be able to fly them in the future with you all! (We can look forward to doing this in warmer weather now!)

We sincerely hope that everyone is well and want to keep the positivity going throughout this stretch of time. We will be uploading pictures of your creations every couple of days, with challenges to encourage us all to stay creative within our walls, and whilst we can’t socialise at this point, we can still communicate our unity through sharing all drawings and images with us and the whole Tales in the Wind community!

Wishing everyone well,
The Tales in the Wind Team

We want to say a HUUUUGE thank you to everyone who came to our workshops and a big thanks to MoreMusic for the help in organising these events for you! We hope you enjoyed yourselves and had a great time making new memories with each other as you put old ones onto all the beautiful kites that were made!

We want to remind you all to keep an eye out for our next live event day, where you will all get the chance to fly the kites you created on Morecambe beach! This will hopefully be held in a couple weeks (Storm Ellen is now brewing and we don't want to get caught)

See you all soon, fellow kite-flyers!
