School development in 2025

The year 2025 marked a period of significant growth and further development for our school, both in the area of secondary education and in the area of vocational qualification exams under the National Qualifications Framework (NSK).

Throughout the year, we expanded our staff, both in the vocational training division and in the high school. New teachers of theoretical subjects and vocational training instructors joined our faculty, which allowed us to enhance the quality of instruction and respond to the growing interest in our programs.

At the same time, we have expanded the pool of authorized examiners who can administer individual vocational qualification exams. As a result, final exams can now be held much more frequently than in the past, which increases their availability to candidates.

Another important step was the construction of new electrical workshops in the basement of the building. We have also expanded the range of fields in which final exams can be taken in accordance with the standards of the National Qualifications Framework (NSK). At the same time, we are continuously modernizing and upgrading our school’s facilities to ensure they meet current industry standards.

Starting in September, we began offering three academic programs at the high school level. In addition to our technical programs, we have introduced a new high school diploma program in Logistics and Financial Services, which expands study options for students interested in economics and logistics.

An integral part of our educational system is the creation of our own study materials. In 2025, we continued to develop new video lectures and specialized publications, which are available to students on the student portal. This allows them to study not only during class but also independently, according to their own needs.

All of these steps were necessary because interest in studying at our school has been growing steadily over the long term. An increasing number of applicants are enrolling in both our high school programs and our vocational certification exams. Expanding our facilities, equipment, and staff capacity is therefore a natural response to this positive trend.

Our goal is to continue developing modern, practice-oriented education that provides students with a solid foundation for their future careers.

The European Academy of Education has expanded its accredited continuing education programs for teachers (DVPP) to include one of the most topical issues of today: artificial intelligence in teaching. The new AI course for teachers is designed to help teachers of all subjects understand and use artificial intelligence tools meaningfully, safely, and in line with current educational goals.

By completing the course, which is available online or in person, teachers will not only gain new digital competencies, but also practical skills that they can immediately apply in their teaching practice. The course is taught in a blended learning format – through video lessons, interactive materials, and expert consultations – which allows teachers to study while working without having to commute.

One of the main advantages is that the course can be financed from the JAK operational program, specifically within the framework of the so-called templates for schools. This means that schools can reimburse their teachers for participation in the course from available subsidies without burdening their own budget.

The course content includes:

- basic orientation in concepts such as machine learning, LLM, AI ethics, and responsible use,

- specific tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, AI image generators),

- integration of AI into lesson preparation, student assessment, and planning,

- security and legal framework for the use of AI in the school environment.

EAV builds on its many years of experience in the field of continuing education, which also includes other courses such as Career Advisor, Continuing Education Lecturer, and ICT Coordinator. The common denominator is an emphasis on practical application, a combined form of teaching, and support for participants throughout the course.

This makes the artificial intelligence course an ideal tool for modern schools that want to prepare their teachers for the challenges of the 21st century while also taking advantage of subsidy support.

Modern teaching cannot do without high-quality multimedia resources. The European Academy of Education is fully aware of this fact and has been building an extensive database of video lectures for many years, which now contains more than 600 recordings. All of these materials are intended exclusively for Academy students and cover a wide range of fields from electrical engineering to IT, pedagogy, and languages to public administration and management.

Video lectures serve as a full replacement for classroom teaching and as a support for independent study. Each recording is created by EAV lecturers in collaboration with experts in the field and adapted to the specifics of distance learning. Students can thus study at their own pace, repeat key passages, or replay the lecture while preparing for exams—whether at home, at work, or on the train.

The content of the videos covers entire courses as well as individual thematic units and is regularly updated. Each newly accredited field of study is supplemented with a corresponding set of instructional videos, ensuring that the teaching material meets current professional and legislative requirements. The lectures are supplemented by other support tools, such as lecture notes and electronic textbooks, which the Academy produces in-house. All materials have one thing in common – they are practically oriented, written to guide students to successful exams, and reflect the needs of students who are studying while working or after a long break from education.

This extensive educational content is an important part of blended, distance, and online learning, which is standard at EAV. Students mainly participate in classes remotely, but they also have access to consultations and the opportunity for personal contact with teachers. The academy thus combines the flexibility of online learning with professional guidance and support.

More than 600 available lectures prove that EAV invests in the quality of teaching systematically and in the long term. This creates a unique environment where even adult students can achieve higher education or professional training without compromise – with modern tools tailored to their lifestyle.

The European Academy of Education is expanding its range of professional programs to include Supplementary Pedagogical Studies (DPS), designed primarily for vocational training instructors and teachers of specialized subjects. This program represents an effective and affordable alternative to several years of university study, which has been the only option for obtaining a teaching qualification until now.

The DPS program at EAV is fully recognized as a professional qualification and meets all the requirements of the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports. Compared to a traditional two-year university program, it allows students to complete their training in one semester through a combination of online classes, video lectures, textbooks, and practical consultations with lecturers.

This model caters to anyone who wants to teach but does not have the time or space to complete long-term classroom study to obtain DPS. Instructors of vocational training at secondary schools, vocational schools, or retraining courses are particularly attracted by the opportunity to study flexibly, without losing their jobs, with the support of experienced teachers and access to modern educational tools.

The following courses are also part of the continuing education program for teachers (DVPP) at EAV:

Artificial Intelligence Course - focused on the practical use of AI tools in teaching and beyond

Career Counselor for Pupils and Students - focused on effective career counseling in schools, counseling centers, and non-profit organizations

ICT Coordinator at School - a program focused on modern technologies, school system administration, and digital competence of teachers

The European Academy of Education thus offers a comprehensive professional development system for anyone who wants to work in education - whether at a primary, secondary, or higher vocational school, or as a lecturer in continuing education. We emphasize accessibility, practicality, and an individual approach to each applicant. The combination of online support, video content, and consultations with experienced lecturers makes these courses a flexible and effective path to new qualifications.

Online study with personal support represents a modern approach to education that combines the flexibility of the digital environment with an individual approach to each student. This model allows students to adapt their studies to their own pace and lifestyle without sacrificing the quality of teaching or personal contact with lecturers.

Online study, a student-centric approach, and support from the school are the main pillars of the European Academy of Education (EAV). Students have access to a wide range of study materials, such as video lectures, textbooks, lecture notes, and sample tests. All study materials are available in electronic form anytime, anywhere. The school also offers most textbooks in printed form to interested parties. This flexibility allows students to plan their studies according to their individual needs and commitments. At the same time, emphasis is placed on personal support, with each student having the opportunity to discuss their progress and questions with lecturers through online consultations or email communication. Thanks to this form of study and support, it is possible to study at EAV while working or even on vacation.

The school's unique approach ensures that students are not left alone in the learning process and have the necessary support to successfully complete their studies. Thanks to the combination of online availability and a personal approach, students feel motivated and supported throughout their educational process. In addition, most fields of study allow students to spread their studies over any length of time, up to five years, eliminating the stress of deadlines. During this time, students can even take a break and continue their studies at a more convenient time.

Online study with personal support thus offers an effective and accessible way of learning that respects the individual needs of students while ensuring high-quality teaching. This model is ideal for those who are looking for a flexible yet structured and supported way of studying.

The Study and Examination Regulations of the European Academy of Education are one of the school's main organizational documents, governing the relationship between students and the educational institution. Their purpose is to establish clear rules for the study process and assessment, thereby ensuring transparency and fair conditions for all students. The document creates a framework for education in individual fields and ensures that all important processes are set up systematically and comprehensibly.

These regulations describe in detail the procedures related to enrollment, the course of study, the evaluation of results, and the completion of studies. They also include rules for the organization of teaching, the method of student evaluation, and the conditions for completing or interrupting studies. Furthermore, it sets out the obligations of students, such as compliance with the code of ethics and active participation in teaching, while also defining their rights, including the possibility of consultations, access to study materials, or review of assessments.

The study regulations are designed as a general document that applies across all programs and forms of study. However, some details may vary depending on the specifics of individual fields or the requirements of a particular educational program. Students are therefore always encouraged to familiarize themselves not only with the general wording of the regulations, but also with any field-specific additions that may regulate, for example, the form of final exams, professional internships, or ongoing assessment. While the study itself is as flexible as possible and can be approached individually, the final exam, its course, and content are precisely defined by the assessment standard of each professional exam separately. Details can be found on the website narodnikvalifikace.cz and are binding for EAV as an authorized person. In the case of professional studies (MBA, DBA, LL.M., etc.), ongoing study outputs are also mandatory, as stipulated in the study regulations.

The study and examination regulations are binding for all participants in the educational process, and compliance with them is essential for the smooth running of the studies. Their transparency, structure, and emphasis on fair and objective evaluation contribute to the high quality of education at the European Academy of Education, to which the school is committed through international or state accreditation. As a result, studies here take place in an atmosphere of trust, respect, and academic responsibility.

The European Training Academy is an innovative approach to education that combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills. Students have the opportunity to get involved in real projects and work with partner companies during their studies. This collaboration allows students to gain valuable experience and prepare for their future careers.

The EAV emphasizes an individual approach to each student, which is reflected in the possibility to adapt the curriculum to specific needs and interests. This enables students to combine their studies effectively with work commitments and family life. The flexible online environment allows access to learning materials at any time and from anywhere, increasing accessibility and convenience of study.

Cooperation with partner companies provides students not only with practical experience, but also with the opportunity to establish professional contacts and increase their chances of finding employment. The EAV thus creates an environment that supports the development of professional competences and prepares students for real work situations.Internships are a compulsory part of most courses of study at the European Academy and can be carried out both with our partners and in companies of their choice. For example, in the professional management studies, students combine theoretical teaching with practical knowledge directly from the company they work in. They can then apply the acquired knowledge in real time directly in their jobs and vice versa: practical experience supports the theoretical study in a suitable and illustrative way.

This model of education reflects the current needs of the labour market and offers students comprehensive preparation for their future careers. The EAV thus becomes a place where study and practice are harmoniously intertwined, providing students not only with theoretical knowledge but also with the practical skills needed for a successful career.

Learning from home has become a popular form of education in recent years, especially among adult learners who want to combine their learning goals with work and family life. This mode of learning offers a range of benefits that are crucial for the adult population - from time flexibility to a personalised approach that takes into account the specific needs of each student.

The European Academy of Education is based on the principles of the student-centred approach. This means that each student studies at his or her own pace and according to his or her own abilities, not according to a pre-set timetable, and teachers help students understand what is not clear, exactly according to their needs. He or she can choose when and for how long to study, which makes planning time for work and family much easier. In addition, the online environment completely eliminates the need to commute, saving not only time and money, but also energy that can be devoted to the study itself. Thus, school does not become a generator of additional stress, but a partner on the path to new knowledge.

One of the many advantages of education at the European Academy of Education is the availability of high-quality instructional videos. Students can watch them as many times as they need and stop them at the exact moment they want to go back to something or take notes. This way of learning promotes a deeper understanding of the material and allows each student to really absorb the information in their own way.

Our school also offers personal consultations with lecturers, which serve as a support when a student needs clarification or advice. This one-to-one contact is very important for an adult student, because even if he or she is studying independently, he or she is never on his or her own. He has experienced professionals to help him overcome any difficulties and push him further.

Thanks to the combination of flexibility, individual support and modern teaching tools, online learning combined with personal consultations in the European Academy of Learning provides a clear yet profound way of learning that makes sense not only in theory but also in the daily practice of an adult.

Like other fields of human activity, the field of education is evolving and taking on new challenges as the demands of students and society change. The educational models we experienced decades ago have become history, and modern progressive education now offers a much wider range of options and ways to learn new knowledge, skills and entire disciplines.
Embracing change is sometimes very difficult for many people. The process of change often brings with it a wave of rejection and criticism. And those changes that withstand this pressure and are proven meaningful by time eventually become the new standard that no one questions anymore - and sometimes people don't even remember that they once resisted. Education went through a similar process a few years ago. At that time, forced distance learning showed quite accurately who was willing to move with the times and look for new possibilities and ways, and conversely, who more or less failed along the way. One thing is certain, however: it went on and on.
"Where there is a will, there is a way."
At the European Academy of Education, we understood that progress cannot be stopped and we adapted. The number of students seeking and demanding distance learning started to grow like mushrooms after the rain. We have verified that the crucial aspect of successful education is not the directive guidance of students, but their motivation, will and the support of the school. We delegated to the students a large part of the responsibility for their future life, and the students responded with high academic activity and interest in the field. It sounds simple, but part of this transformation has been hard work on the part of the school: providing study materials, tutoring, programming our own student system, making videos, listening to students and learning from our own mistakes - this is the path we are on and we believe there is no end to it. We're always looking for new ways to meet the demand for distance education while still being available to students when they need us physically.
We no longer offer only shorter courses as part of our online training, but also complete blocks of training that lead to full professional qualifications, certificates of completion, school leaving certificates and university diplomas. Our students are mainly working people who have decided to extend or completely change their qualifications and are willing and able to do this on their own, not just for attendance. At the same time, however, we also have a growing number of young students after primary school who envision their secondary school career in a different - progressive - way. And also students who experience unsatisfactory attitudes from teachers or classmates in mainstream high school. With us, they have the peace of mind and support they deserve to learn.
In the digital age, it's impossible to pretend that computers, cell phones and the internet don't exist. On the contrary. We need to use these technological innovations also in education and make the most of them. We are proud that the European Academy of Education represents a quality alternative to the established order and we believe that this path will make sense to an increasing number of students of all ages.
