I’m just baffled by Surah النساء .....SubhanAllah the language,the tone how Allah explains each and everything in it is so unique SubhanAllah, see how in below Ayah Allah talks about His and HIS
مَّا يَفْعَلُ اللَّـهُ بِعَذَابِكُمْ
What would Allah do with your punishment ?
Ibn e Aashor Says in his Book التحرير والتنوير that This Ayah means that Allah is saying that “I don’t wish/want to give you any kind of punishment at all not even a single bit”
If you see the above Ayah closely then you will find out that Allah is just mentioning HIS “Punishment” very lightly that what benefit will I get to punish you O My Beloved servant,I’ve created you the way I wanted,I made you for my Obedience & Worship,O My Beloved Slave how it is possible that I will punish you or I even wanted to punish you at 1st place,I’ve created you out of my Love and sent you on this earth as My successor خليفة ,So what benefit will I get to punish you as long as you are fulfilling your duties towards ME....
And in the next part of the Ayah Allah clarifies it and puts a condition which can takeaway the punishment of Allah from us ,Allah Says
إِن شَكَرْتُمْ وَآمَنتُمْ ۚ
if you are and
Allah puts a condition الشرط that as long as you are being “Grateful” towards my Blessings and as Long as you “Believe”(Believe in ME by Worshiping ME and Obeying ME,believe in My Messengers,My Book”Qur’an” and on the Day of Judgement )
(Now I was expecting the answer of the above condition the جواب الشرط Answer to that condition is dropped محذوف ) which means as Long as you are being “Grateful & you Believe” in ME then you are save and Allah has used فعل الماضي past tense which means even if you are being Grateful for Once or even to the least bit then I’ll reward you and will save you from every kind of Harm and Allah endorsed this idea in the next part of this Ayah ,Allah used HIS two amazing attributes which directly connects with شكر & أمن SubhanAllah,Allah Says
وَكَانَ اللَّـهُ شَاكِرًا عَلِيمًا
And ever is Allah Appreciative and Knowing.
SubhanAllah if you are being “Grateful” and you are a true then you will find Allah شاكراً & عليماً too and HE will reward you according to HiS Supreme Might , He knows what’s in your Heart He is knowing of everything (which we hide or express) SubhanAllah ♥️
Note : Allah mentioned “Being Grateful 1st & being a Believer later” and Allah finishes the Ayah in the same sequence by mentioning HIS attributes as “Appreciative شاكراً first and all Knowing(of what’s in the hearts) 2cnd ..SubhanAllah ,Being Grateful to Allah and to His Creation is more important to Allah ,HE عزوجل Loves the one who is being “Grateful” to HIM and to HIS creation..!
