LinxsMan was born on a cold winter’s night on the gritty streets of South London, as an "off the cuff" depiction of maturing youth in an urban environment. Originally, the tag of a former graffiti artist, LinxsMan, came to embody the urban individual that lived and grew up in his surroundings. It came to represent his vision of youth that, despite being a little rough round the edges, were filled
with creativity, and talent, just waiting for the opportunity to fulfil their potential. Any and everyone, regardless of where they were born or where they grew up, can relate to him. One may look at LinxsMan, and immediately identify themselves with his headphones, while another may identify with his laid-back posture. Whatever connects you to LinxsMan, there is a unique splendour to his rough and rugged demeanour, a unique radiance typical to those of a creative persuasion. LinxsMan teaches us that even though we may be a little rough round the edges, we are still beautiful...God gave us style! The creator’s first foray into fashion was the result of a branding project at university. Upon hearing the assignment, and without any second thought, the creator adopted the street tag he used in his youth as the project’s primary focus. He was amazed at the response. LinxsMan’s confidence and strength of character seemed to draw people toward him, and it was this reaction that inspired the creator to use fashion as his new platform for expressing his passion for art. The T-shirt replaced street walls and notebooks as his new canvas, and he began creating tees in his bedroom. Almost by accident, LinxsMan, and its representation of urban maturity, birthed LinxsDzine. The reaction in the immediate community was phenomenal, which drew the attention of other creative Londoners, who plotted to introduce, first the UK, then the world, to the unforgettable LinxsMan.
