Westminster Adult Education Service WAES is Westminster's adult college for learners aged 19+, offering hundreds of courses each year.

Westminster is one of the most diverse and dynamic communities in Britain. Westminster Adult Education Service (WAES) reflects that diversity as one of the largest local authority adult education providers in the country. The service is part of the education department of the City of Westminster and is funded by the Skills Funding Agency. We have strong roots in the community, running courses wher

e they are needed through partnerships with the local authority and other community and education bodies. To ensure the quality of our courses and support for students we are inspected by Ofsted. On courses leading to national qualifications, we must also meet the high standards required by examination bodies.

New training opportunities to support London’s growing green workforce! 🍃 💼

In partnership with the Mayor of London has launched the Green Skills Innovation Centre at WAES Lisson Grove. This new centre offers free or low-cost training in energy efficiency, retrofitting assessing, home insulation techniques and how heat pumps work.
