QM Indian Society was formed by a group of students who were motivated to spread festivities and culture throughout the University and since then, we’ve not just done that but our nomination for the Most Improved Society of the Year is indicative of our ongoing efforts! Each year, we bring together people, Indian and otherwise,
in order to experience the vibrant Indian culture through a range of e

vents. We have something for everyone at Indian Society – this gives you the opportunity to mingle in with fellow Queen Mary students as well as through other inter-London Universities through our whole array of activities. Our most recent recognition from the SU (https://www.qmsu.org/news/article/10233/Societies-Spotlight-On-QM-Indian-Society/) is indicative of our hard work. Importantly, our committee is dedicated to ensuring that we build and retain vast warm and friendly networks as well as ensuring that it is used as means of making life-long friendships. We look forward to you joining our community and participating in everything we have to offer!

This wasn’t just a match — it was pride, pressure, passion and pure campus energy wrapped into one showdown. From that 40th minute breakthrough to the 74th minute dagger, every second had the crowd locked in.

Chants from the sidelines. Heartbeats rising with every attack. Our keeper turning into a wall. And when that second goal hit? Absolute scenes.

Massive respect to everyone who came through, supported, and made it a proper atmosphere. Rivalry on the pitch. Unity off it. That’s how it’s done.

Arts Two turned into a full-blown stadium. Every boundary had the room shaking. Every wicket sent people flying out of their seats. India 🇮🇳 vs Pakistan 🇵🇰 on the world stage is always electric — but experiencing it together at Queen Mary? Different level.

From the first ball to the final moment, the energy did not drop once. Chants echoing, nerves building, cheers exploding, phones recording, everyone locked in. It wasn’t just a screening — it was 5 hours of pure big-match chaos and unity. ⚡️

Thank you to everyone who showed up and brought that atmosphere. You didn’t just attend — you made it unforgettable. 💙
